Delhi BSc Nursing admission is solely based on an entrance exam. Applicants can apply for Delhi BSc Nursing Admission on the basis of the NEET UG scores or AIIMS Paramedical scores. NTA has released the NEET UG 2023 exam dates. The NEET UG will be conducted on May 07, 2023. Registrations for AIIMS Paramedical Exam are also open for candidates who wish to seek AIIMS BSc Nursing Admission 2023 till April 20, 2023. The final AIIMS BSc Nursing registration code will be generated between March 01 – April 28, 2023, and the last date to seek AIIMS Paramedical Final Registration is April 28, 2023.

NEET 2023 scores are also accepted for admission to the Delhi BSc Nursing program. After the release of the merit list, the counseling process will be held. To seek BSc Nursing admission in AIIMS Delhi, candidates must apply for the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Exam on June 04, 2023. The AIIMS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam result will be declared on June 30, 2023.

BSc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate paramedical program. Candidates who wish to pursue BSc Nursing course in Delhi must have studied the Science stream in their 10+2 with Biology as a compulsory subject.

Delhi BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Eligibility

Delhi BSc Nursing eligibility criteria is based on age, educational qualification, and domicile. The detailed eligibility criteria has been mentioned below:

  • The minimum age limit for admission to Delhi BSc Nursing programme is 17 years at the time of admission.
  • Applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects.
  • They must score more than 50% marks in total to be eligible for admission.
  • Class 12 appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

Delhi BSc Nursing Admission Process 2023

  • Delhi Bsc Nursing admission is based on both merit as well as NEET exam score. 
  • Various universities conduct entrance exams or accept NEET 2023 Results for admission to Delhi BSc Nursing program. 
  • After the release of merit or entrance exam results, students will be called for an interview round as well. 

Delhi BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Counselling Process

  • After the release of the entrance exam result, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Delhi BSc Nursing counseling process. 
  • The counseling process will be done online and the seats will be allotted on the basis of the rank secured by the students in the entrance exam. 
  • If any shortlisted students fail to appear for the counseling round, their candidature will be cancelled. 
  • Candidates must verify their official documents during the counseling session and pay the admission fee in the allotted institution.

Ans. As a student of UCMS, I will try to enlighten you about my college. Location- It is true that UCMS is located in the periphery of Delhi, and its surrounding is not as developed as that of VMMC. Regardless, the location of UCMS offers most of the facilities required for a good college life. You can access Cinepolis, PVR and Big Cinemas from here, reach CP in 20-30 minutes by metro/private vehicle, and catch a metro from Jhilmil metro station to explore Delhi/NCR.  Campus- UCMS has a beautiful campus, the best among Delhi medical colleges. It has a huge central field where you can play cricket, basketball, football, etc. Boys get single seater hostel rooms from the first year itself. The campus has two 24*7 canteens, a book shop from where you can access all your medical books, an ATM, and a post office.The hospital has undergone renovation, and looks new and well managed. Academics- UCMS offers excellent academics. The faculty is skilled and teaches with sincerity. The Histology Lab in the Anatomy department is really good.  Extracurriculars- UCMS has a sports society, a western dance team, a theme choreography team, a dramatics team, a musical society, a literary society and a medical education unit. You can join any of these. According to me, both UCMS and VMMS are good medical colleges. You can choose the latter if location is a concern to you, otherwise, UCMS is a good choice too.Read more

Ans. AIIMS BSc Nursing 2022 entrance examination date is June 18 . You will be able to get the admit card on 11th June. It is a computer-based test and will be conducted in 150 test centers in 14 cities across the country.  Number of seats available for B.Sc Nursing (Hons.) at AIIMS Delhi is 571. B.Sc Nursing students need to pay a security deposit of INR 1000 for the hostel. Mess fees need to be paid separately. The current mess charges for four meal format fixed menu is around INR 2000.
