JCECEB issues the BSc Nursing Entrance Exam (NECE) application form. Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023:

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Entrance Exam Pattern

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Entrance Exam (NECE) will be held in the pen-paper mode in test centers of Bokaro, Chaibasa, Daltonganj, Dhanbad, Dumka, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, and Ranchi. Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Entrance Exam Result

Jharkhand NECE BSc Nursing entrance exam results will be declared at the official website of JCECEB: jceceb.gov.in. Subsequently, the authorities will release a merit list within 3-5 days of the result declaration. Candidates need to enter their application no. and date of birth to check their scores. Jharkhand BSc Nursing entrance exam scorecard will have details that include:

• Registration Number
• Student’s Name.
• Father’s and Mother’s Name.
• Subject wise marks
• Total marks secured
• Rank and Result Status

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Merit List

Jharkhand BSc nursing admission merit list will be issued once JCECEB concludes entrance exams and also publishes results. Once the results are declared, the list is prepared based on scores obtained and the categories of the candidates. A separate merit list will be released for BSc Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post Basic). The merit list is prepared to offer seats in BSc Nursing colleges in Jharkhand. 

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Tie-Breaking Procedure

In case more than one candidate receives the same rank and score then a tie-breaking procedure will be carried out. JCECEB uses tie-breaker policy to allot seats in a certain order of priority. Details are provided below:

BSc Nursing

Tie-breaking will be done in the following priority categories: 

• Candidates scoring higher marks in Biology
• Candidates scoring higher marks in Chemistry
• Candidates in the older age group
• In alphabetic order of the candidates’ names

BSc Nursing (Post Basic)

Tie-breaking will be done in the following priority categories: 

• Candidates in the older age category
• In alphabetic order of the candidates’ names

Jharkhand BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Counselling Process

JCECEB conducts the counseling process after entrance exam results are declared. Candidates have to qualify Jharkhand Nursing entrance exam to get admission in BSc nursing course. Candidates need to report at the counselling venue within the specified date and time and carry original documents along with them.
