RWTH Aachen University Don't charge tuition fees for international students. The Social Contribution fee for the winter Semester is $316.
Important Dates
The Master's course of study Molecular and Applied Biotechnology was designed within the interdisciplinary collaboration involving the engineering sciences at RWTH Aachen to blend the natural sciences and strong bioengineering components. In addition to molecular biology subjects, process engineering basics, reaction engineering, and bioreactor technology are the main cornerstones of the training for this consecutive program and are an essential basis for continuing training in the Master’s program.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
- The necessary knowledge needed in order for studies to be successful is determined in the respective exam regulations (PO).
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60-80% on an institutional basis.

- Resume/CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
- Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education.
- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
