Master of Science [M.S] (Industrial Engineering and Management)
Field of Study:
- In the Industrial Engineering and Management master’s degree program, students further advance the knowledge and skills they acquired in the bachelor’s program of the same name.
- Students will expand their technical skills in designing, planning, and operating socio-technical systems, critically reflect on content and methods in industrial engineering and management, and pursue research-oriented work.
- The master’s program offers specializations in logistics and health technology in addition to those offered in the Industrial Engineering and Management bachelor’s program - civil engineering, chemistry and process engineering, electrical engineering, energy and resources, information and communication systems, mechanical engineering, and transportation engineering.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
The admission requirements of the program are:
- Students require to have an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, or a similar discipline or an equivalent degree.

Additionally, students must be able to submit proof of the following:
- At least 35 credit points in economics
- At least 35 credit points in the basic principles of engineering
- At least 35 credit points in mathematics and quantitative methods (including at least ten credit points in engineering mathematics, five credit points in statistics, five credit points in operations research, and five credit points in programming).
- The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
- Submission of the GRE is not mandatory but will strengthen the application.

VISA
A German Student Visa is necessary for all international students who wish to study in Germany, with the exception of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), and Swiss nationals who can do so without a visa.
Even the national visa grants students the right to remain in Germany for the initial 3 months of a course. During this period, they are required to apply for a residence permit to extend their stay in Germany. Students should do this while their entry visa is still valid. The maximum period they will be receiving through such a residence permit is 2 years.
The required documents to apply for a German student visa:
- A duly-filled application form
- A smart cover letter stating the purpose and duration of students' stay.
- Valid national passport. (It must have three more months of validity on the day you leave Germany)
- Two photocopies of your passport.
- Three recently taken biometric portrait photographs.
- Certificate of birth.
- Covered health insurance
- Letter of Admission into a study program from the German University
- Proof of Payment to the college/university
- Evidence of the earlier education.
- Proof of Financial Resources to support their stay in Germany (Blocked Account Paper, preferably)
- Scores of Language Tests in Germany(Proof of German if students are applying for a course taught in German only)
