Field of Study:
- Master of Science in Biochemical and Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig is a 2-year (4 Semester) program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The program starts in the winter semester and summer semester.
- This is an interdisciplinary course that combines natural and engineering sciences. Plastics, medicines, dairy products - all of these products are made from raw materials that are converted into biological or chemical processes and reprocessed.

Tuition Fees
Students do not have to pay the tuition fees to study at TU Braunschweig, but only they have to pay is a semester fee of about 350 € per semester.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering course or in a closely related subject Degree.
- Or, students have an equivalent degree from another foreign university in the technically suitable preceding degree course in chemical or biochemical engineering.
Language Requirement:
- Students must have passed one of the following language tests:
- DSH 2
- TestDaF with at least 4 points in each section of the test
- Feststellungsprüfung of the Studienkolleg
- Sprachdiplom of the Kultusministerkonferenz (Stufe II)
- C2-Zertifikat of the Goethe Institute.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Required Document List
Following are the required Documents:
- CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
- Copy of latest German language certificate – Students are required to submit a copy of the German Certificate.
- School Leaving Certificate – School-leaving certificate in the original language and a certified translation (certified copies) is required.
- Official Transcript – Students have to submit the transcripts of bachelor's degrees with all subjects, including marks and letters of motivation.
