Nanotechnology is a highly interdisciplinary science. On the nanoscale, it combines physical laws, chemical processes and biological principles. The great degree of interdisciplinarity makes it indispensable for the scientist to acquire additional knowledge, for example in characterization methods, nano-optics, nanoelectronics, nanomaterials and biotechnology.
The program prepares students for a career in practice and ensures that they are able to sustainably improve existing products and processes in the organizations in which they operate.
