Graduates acquire in-depth knowledge of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical and theoretical chemistry. The elective modules and compulsory elective modules are used to set individual priorities and develop a profile. Students can choose from a wide range of areas with a pronounced interdisciplinary character.
They can take modules from the fields of colloid chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, materials science, biological chemistry, marine chemistry, toxicology, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, among other things.
During an industrial excursion, students get an insight into the chemical industry and have the opportunity to get to know the work processes in the chemical industry in the industrial internship elective module. They take part in chemical colloquia,
The master's thesis is written in the 4th semester on a topic in a field of study of your choice. The students work on a topic from chemistry independently using scientific methods and present the results and knowledge gained as a written piece of work

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria:

The prerequisite for admission to the master’s course is a completed bachelor’s degree in the relevant area or an equivalent degree.

Indian Student Eligibility:

A recognized 4-year Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with an equivalent average mark of 60%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
