Being the HOD of BIT. What is your philosophy of leadership and describe your leadership style?
“Follows a direct and leading example through a leadership style”
I would describe my leadership style as direct and leading by example. We enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on projects. But, I also like to stay involved and inspire my faculty team by showing that working hands-on to help them. From my point of view, the philosophy of leadership is to lead by example and to guide others through your behavior instead of your words.
The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?
“Update technology and equipment to get a good learning experience for students”
Indian education focuses more on theory rather than practical solely. Also, the Indian education system does not allow creativity. On the other hand, in foreign countries usually focus more on practical based learning. It also allows creativity in the education system. Educational institutions must adapt to new technologies if they want to remain competitive. Students will be drawn to those companies or institutions that can keep up with changes in technology. The use of updated technology and equipment will improve the learning experience.
How does the curriculum of BIT ensure the best practice of industry?

“Adapt innovation, growth and diversity on campus for pupils”
Cultural diversity makes colleges and universities better places to learn. We are often referred to as a melting pot. The US welcomes diverse people from around the world to live, work, and study. This cultural diversity is part of what makes US colleges and universities unique places for innovation, growth, and success. We have to adapt to this type of diversity to make our college/universities a better place to learn.
