How are you leading this institution to make it better?

“Latest methodologies to deliver knowledge and information”

I, along with my team, always make sure that the students get the information they need and with necessary details as soon as possible in the most efficient manner. We use online and offline methods to connect with the students and utilize modern technology in the form of PPTs, video learning sessions, notes distribution, etc. Also we provide one-to-one counselling to each student so that they get a better understanding of what’s necessary for them.

What are the strengths of your college?

“Fine on-campus placement and quality facilities”

We pride ourselves in the knowledge we impart in the computer science branch and its diverse fields with the teachings of our experienced professors. We also pride ourselves into the placements. We have tie ups with various companies nationally and a good campus placement rate of about 80-90 per cent. Moreover we have well-established necessary infrastructure with furnished laboratories and libraries, and a base of expert and experienced faculty, most of them holding a doctorate degree, which gives us an edge over our competitors.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your college?

“Connecting and communication in a healthy manner”

There is a clear communication and interaction between the students and the professors. We actually have a mentor system where for every 15 students we allocate a mentor who is supposed to solve all the educational as well as personal problems for the students. Also the professors are very much friendly and the students directly contact them for any of their queries. We host technical, sports and cultural fest to keep the students and faculty in good spirits throughout their journey in the institution. Also the participation of other colleges helps the students to connect with them as well as incite a competitive mentality.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the students are?

“Focusing and imparting quality education”

With our experience of 21 years and with a huge base of experienced professors, we imbibe our students with high quality education and best possible technical skills. We help the students in their professional and social development so that they move forward with their career with ease, in future.

What are the challenges that you are facing in this Covid-19 situation?

“Lack of laboratory exposure and one to one communication for better understanding”

The main challenge with the COVID-19 pandemic is there is no physical presence of the students, no means of non-verbal communication between students and faculty. This makes it difficult to understand the personality and potential of students. Online classes are surely not up to the mark due to poor networks and connections in certain remote areas, thus hampering the quality of education. Also since there are no lab sessions, the students are not getting the practical experience properly.

Any suggestions you want to give to the aspiring students?

“Be positive and mindful with your decisions”

Students must be thoughtful about the steps they take in life, especially in their career. Keep your choices standard for long term goals and never stop for anything temporary or unnecessary. Have a clean, positive and ethical mindset for yourself and others too.
