She as a professional has proved her mettle in- Academics, Research Work, Social Work, Students Welfare etc with a few reputed organizations across the nation. She started her career journey as Software Developer, she further excelled her career in the domain of Academics and Research. She has been previously associated with some of the reputed organizations.She pioneers in the latest and unique research area of brain disorder modelling in computational neuroscience. Acknowledging the outcome-based learning, she has a number of high quality research publications in international journals & conference of repute and participated in a few dozen international and national conferences across India and abroad.She is very active in making a contribution towards the upliftment of society. During her position as Dy Dean Student’s welfare, she organized Blood Donation camps, Cloth distribution drives, Yoga and Meditation camps, and Spreading education awareness for the underprivileged section of people.

The future is interdisciplinary education. Industries are changing at a rapid pace and so are job scenarios. Machine learning and intelligent automation is going to take over industries sooner than later. Hence the education system is also going through multiple transformations. The curriculum would also evolve in the directions of skill based and application oriented courses. Industry supported courses will take over the current practices and research will drive the industries.

First and foremost advice is to identify your interest area. Then, go on to select the right course and the right college/University to pursue it. Always try to find out what extra an education institute can offer apart from the normal takeaways. Selecting the right mentor is also very important in the early stages of life. This mentor might be your senior from school, college, your teacher or any industry person. You also need to choose your team wisely. IILM Engineering provides multiple platforms for students to show and nurture their talent.

We have Programming, Electronics, IOT, Robotics, Biotech, Automotives, Mathematics and Civil technical clubs in place and students get good exposure to learn and apply their knowledge in a particular domain. There is no restriction in joining any club. Apart from technical clubs, we have Recreational, Photography, Literary, Art & Craft, Management, Sports and Social Service cells that are completely managed by students under the guidance of faculty mentors. 

To enhance the entrepreneurial outlook of students, IILM ENGINEERING has been working progressively as an Innovation cell which is recognized & ranked by MHRD. This innovation Cell promotes high quality student projects and their latest innovations. To promote startups we recently organized a National webinar “Hang out with Entrepreneurs” in July 2020 which brought participants from 19 countries and 23 states of India. Within 2 year of establishment, our Innovation Cell has been ranked in the top 50 MHRD IIC across the country. To boost the technical skills of students, we organize Technical Fest every year.

The Career Guidance & Placement Cell of IILM Academy of Higher Learning, GreaterNoida works across the year to connect with the renowned national and multinational companies for the final placement of our B.Tech & MBA graduating batch. The team CGPC is connected with 175+ companies in various sectors like- Information Technology, Telecom, Pharma, health, FMCG, Retail, Banking & Finance, and many more. Few renowned companies who recruited our students are- TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, NEC Technologies, OPPO, Paytm, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. Several students received multiple offers. The highest package offered was 12.4 LPA.

I believe in empowerment; empowerment of my faculties and my students. Leadership is always about continuous growth and continuous improvement. It’s not I or ME, it’s always WE and that’s where my belief lies. I would call my leadership style “Hands on”. I prefer to learn and experience the challenges before I delegate. I also believe, once we are hands-on, we can issue right instructions to the right people at the right time. The most important and difficult part for me of being a good leader is “owning the responsibility”. It helps in making a strong and dedicated team and building the confidence level of team members.

The evolution of technologies, especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence and automation, and their intervention in almost all the areas is the biggest challenge. But, at IILM Engineering, we continuously strive to keep pace with technological advancement by organizing hands-on training sessions, workshops, expert lectures, industrial visits, joint industry projects, hackathons and project exhibitions etc. We also promote interdisciplinary research and project work so that students get to learn beyond boundaries. 

A pool of mentors from renowned institutions like IIT, JNU and AIIMS and Industry mentors are regularly delivering lectures and conducting mentoring sessions with students and faculties to educate them relevant industrial trends and research problems.
