What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"My passion of educating youths nd curious attitude to know things kept me intacted"

Teaching is my passion. As a teacher, I don’t just teach students, but I also have to keep upskilling myself by learning the current educational and industrial trends. Hence in my opinion, my constant learning attitude and urge to upskill myself are the two major factors which have kept me intacted with the education sector for so long.

Being Professor of Sanjeevan Engineering and Technology Institute, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"I have provide an ambiance of open communication to my team"

I truly believe that leadership is all about leading others through your actions and examples. A true leader clearly knows the skills and weaknesses of his team and also how to convert ideas into actions. Hence I also use the same approach and clearly demonstrate what needs to be done by keeping my team organized to make sure we’re all on the same page and contributing equally. Communication is one of my greatest strengths. I lead by facilitating open communication, and trying to bring out the best in every team member.

How do you strategize the key programs for the marketing and administration of your college?

"By doing videography of our faculties, facilities and programs to reach to desired students"

Before you do anything, you must understand the ideal student you want to attract to your institute. You can share all about your approachable staff, convenient class schedule and placements track-record. We do the advertisement of our institute through videos because images attract people more than words. Apart from that we have automated most of the processes in our institute to remove manual efforts, human errors and inefficiencies.

Which latest program are you offering in your institute to help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?

"We offer NPTEL based programs and courses to our students"

We offer credit-based NPTEL (National Programme on Technical Enhanced Learning) programs. Under these programs, we not only provide theoretical knowledge to our students but also make them well equipped with practical skills. And, as soon as students complete the credits they are awarded the BE Honors Degree. Apart from this, we offer courses from Duke University and California University through Coursera.

This program ensures that our students will be fully skilled till the time they will join the corporate world or will start their own business. We plan things ahead in terms of subjects and their syllabus delivery, training programs and internships in the sense that as soon as our students complete their education in 4 years’ time, they should be employable or ready to pursue higher studies. We offer training programs on soft skills, ask them to give presentations, participate in group discussions etc. to make them well prepared by the time of placements. 

How did you train your students to cope up with this competitive world?

"By following classroom teaching techniques and providing them abundant study material"

We use three different approaches to teach concepts to our students in a more effective way. First is the normal classroom teaching which is followed by interactive sessions where we involve our students in different kinds of co-curricular activities and tasks. The last approach that we have is to share pre-recorded lecture videos and study material with students. We also conduct live experiments and practical to clear out students' doubts simultaneously.

Which benefits and career options will be available for students after pursuing this course from your college?

"Our dedicated entrepreneurship cell prepare our students for their business ideas"

Our college gives complete assistance to our students with respect to academics, higher education and career options. We also have a dedicated entrepreneurship cell for students to help and support ideas of those students who want to be an Entrepreneur instead of job seekers. For the coming session, we are planning to train our students on GATE courses.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"If you are interested in something, give your 100% efforts to achieve your goals"

I would advise my students and young minds to do what they love. If they are doing something they are passionate about, they will naturally succeed and create a bright future for themselves. We all know, failures will always be there, it's up to you whether you come back stronger or leave things in between. Dedicatedly chase your goals and don't take your steps back due to other opinions or you failed once or twice.
