What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

The education sector develops a holistic personality of students and transforms them into competent professionals”

I have focused on quality initiatives, sustenance, and enhancement for the overall growth and development of the institute. The education sector is a powerful change agent as it changes the lives of people which in turn leads to socio-economic development. The education sector is a big contributor to nation-building. Hence, I am proud that I am connected with such a noble field.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“As a leader, I strive hard to create a win-win situation for all stakeholders”

The philosophy of leadership is based on our core values – Cultural Heritage and Leadership, Honesty and Integrity, Quality Education, Holistic Development, etc. I strongly believe in a participative style of management. All the stakeholders share feedback and contribute to quality enhancement. I encourage teaching and non-teaching staff to work as a team and involve them in planning, decision making, and execution of all activities.

How does the curriculum of AISSMS ensure the best practice of industry?

It covers the emerging trends & matches with requirements of global industry”

I was a member of the curriculum revision committee formed by the University for the MBA program for the latest 2019 pattern. The curriculum of the University is contemporary, rich in contents, offers flexibility, and fulfills the expectations of all stakeholders. In addition to the curriculum, the Institute offers few certification courses to the students to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial ability.

How do you tend to establish a healthy environment in your institute?

A decentralized system of governance & participative style of management”

At AISSMS, we strive hard to build, maintain and enhance professional relationships with all the stakeholders. The teaching and non-teaching staff members work as a team. The organizational hierarchy is defined clearly and authority is given to all the co-ordinators. During the meetings, the staff members are allowed to express their opinion and share ideas for quality improvement. The students are involved in the planning and execution of all the activities.
