What is your opinion in pursuing management courses in India and how our country is providing opportunities for the students of management?
“Indian management education has evolved over time becoming student-centric”
In India, more than 200 universities are offering various management programs. In the last 21 years, Indian Management education has become student-centric, focusing on developing practical skills. We are replacing theory-based education with practical-based knowledge where the students can think beyond jobs and seek to become entrepreneurs. Recently witnessed covid-19 situations have allowed students to enhance their skills by learning new technologies and platforms. This enables management graduates to make their careers in digital marketing, data analytics, security trading and marketing, marketing analytics, HR analytics, crisis management, etc. There are an ample number of avenues. The only aspect is to have passion and perseverance to build a career in the field of management.
