What was your vision for the college when you initially arrived at PIMT? Has it changed over time, and how far along are you in executing it?

I always envisioned mutual growth when I originally conceived the institution. With time, my vision has become more powerful, and I am close to its fulfillment. We are becoming an organization of distinction.

What would you like people to know about your university that they might not already know?

Most importantly, we follow a student-centric approach to teaching. We have placement cell, sports, and hostel facilities for outstation students. Our labs are well equipped with advanced equipment for all the departments. We also have progressive management, always ready to help faculty. That’s all that I want the people to know about PIMT.

What do you consider to be PIMT's greatest strengths?

Our greatest strength is the faculty and management, functioning to serve the institute and act in favor of students. They provide quick solutions to the problems of students and so the institute. It doesn’t visualize any difference between students and administration; it works for their welfare together. Anyone in our institute freely contacts the administration to address their grievances, queries, or problems.

How can you develop healthy relationships and an environment in your institution?

As I mentioned, our administration is easily approachable to students and their parents. They establish a friendly relationship with them through trust and sincerity with students, instructors, and staff.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general and University specifically?

Nowadays, higher education is facing many challenges. They include the geographical location of the college, the mentality of students and parents to move toward big cities, and quality education.

What kind of student do you look for during the selection process?

We welcome all students from all parts of India. Every student is important and can be trained and polished, so we just want a student who wants to learn. Rest we will make sure that he comes out as a great student.

Do you have any recommendations for the current young and aspiring students?

I suggest to young students that qualification and experience are the keys to strengthening their candidature in any interview. They should not just memorize the book but rather should learn to use them practically, be able to solve real-life problems, and present sustainable solutions. It is easy to get employment, but they should be motivated, determined, and skilled to live a successful life. Lastly, gain knowledge from anything productive.
