Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, PG Diploma, PhD as well as research fellowships via its four campuses located in Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

ISI Kolkata conducts an entrance exam for admission to all its programs in the month of May each year. The academic year starts in the month of July. Admission to the various programs offered by ISI Kolkata is granted on the basis of marks obtained in the test conducted by the University. Application Process for ISI Kolkata Admission commences in the month of February. It is done via online mode. Candidates have to visit the official website of ISI. There is a stipulated fee that must be submitted for registration.

The results for ISI Admissions are issued online, in the month of May, on the official institute website. For the current academic, ISI results will be released in the month of May/June.

Candidates can check their ISI admission test result by following the below-given steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ISI Kolkata.

Step 2: Click on the ‘ISI Admission Result’ link.

Step 3: Next, the candidate should enter the ISI Application No. & Password OR ISI Roll No. & Date of Birth. Click on submit button.

Step 4: A screen will appear, informing about the candidate’s result status (Qualified or not).

Step 5: Save and download the ISI Result/ Score Card.

Note: It is important to visit the ISI website to check the result as it will not be sent via post/ Email.

ISI Admission Test Admit Card 2022

Candidates who have submitted ISI Application Form will be issued their ISI Admit Card starting from April. It is a mandatory document that a candidate has to produce on exam day. It is advisable to check all the details mentioned on the Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, one must report the same to the concerned authorities.

After the written test concludes, candidates are shortlisted for the interview round. The final admissions to Indian Statistical Institute are based on the candidate’s performance in the written test as well as the interview round. Past academic records are also taken into consideration.

Note: For certain programs, candidates who are INMO Awardees need not appear for the written exam. Such applicants will be directly intimated for the interview round and shortlisted based on their performance in the same.

PGDBA Entrance Test 2022

The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) is jointly offered by ISI, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta.  It is a 2-year full-time program and aims to empower all the aspirants with business analytical skills.

A candidate has to visit all the 3 institutes on a rotational basis as each of them focuses on a separate area of business analytics. The exam is conducted in offline mode (pen-paper based). The duration of the exam is 3 hours. It will have a total of 50 objective type questions carrying 3 marks each.

PGDBA Entrance Test Results 2022

For the current academic session, the exam concluded in February. On the basis of written exam scores, selected candidates were intimated for the interview round in the month of March.
