What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Nobility of the profession and the education sector”

The foremost reason to be connected to the education sector is to work for the overall development of the students. It also gives me an opportunity to stay connected and learn about the latest developments and trends in technology. Also, The respect which a student has for a teacher is what has made me connected with education for such a long time. I draw satisfaction from my job when I see my students getting employed and generating employment for others as well.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Empowering and drawing the team together”

A leader is one who is strategic, inspiring and a motivational individual. A leader is one who inspires teamwork in others and pushes each member in his team to excel in their work and achieve the target as planned. A leader is one who supports his or her subordinates and maintains the right balance within the organization among various departments such as the management, staff and the students. A leader is also one who leads by setting an example for others, not just gives orders. He/She is the one who lays out a plan of action for the team and ensures the participation of each and every individual including himself to complete a task.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the students are?

“Enhancing student experience and skills”

The key responsibility I have, being the HOD, is to prepare a route or a path that takes the students towards a visionary life and success. My most important role is to provide a creative and healthy environment for the faculty and students in particular so that they can enhance their knowledge and improve their skills. Motivating the students for their research work and innovation is what I believe is my role and responsibility which eventually would lead to the growth of the organization and the students above all.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?

“Integration and alliance along with formal practical activities”

Our curriculum is based according to the standards of AKTU and has been designed according to the industry standards. We ensure the best practice in the industry through an institute-industry partnership under which we organize various events such as industry visits of the students, expert lectures and training programs in a number of industries throughout the year. Students are enabled to learn differential skills and gain hands-on experience on the latest practices in the industry. We have a dedicated Industry-Institute Cell in our college and its primary goal is to look after these programs and organize more and more of such programs for the betterment of the students.

What would you like the students to know about your Institution which they may not know?

“Practical focus and student guidance”

Our institution focuses not only on the theory in curriculum, but we firmly believe in hands-on practice and exposure of the students to the best knowledge and practices in the industry. Here at Naraina Vidyapeeth students are motivated to work on the new technologies as per the industry standards. There are a number of research papers published by our students every year, and we encourage them in each and every possible way to achieve their dreams. We have an incubation centre on campus that promotes the ideas of start-ups of the students and provides students with the necessary assistance and guidance to help achieve their goals.

“Passion, Determination and Dedication”

I would like to say the world is changing very rapidly and the youngsters need a mixture of skills to succeed. Though academics are essential, it is not sufficient for a productive career. People need to develop skills such as flexibility and teamwork for achieving success in their work as well as individual life. The youth should learn from their mistakes and keep focussing on their passion. I am pretty sure that a passionate individual can achieve anything in life. No goal is out of reach for these individuals.
