IIM Sambalpur is being operated from its temporary campus situated inside the Sambalpur University, and the elite Medical and Engineering University. The hostel of IIM Sambalpur has three buildings inside the campus. One building is for the girls and two are for boys. Students are given rooms on a twin-sharing basis in which they are equipped with a bed, mattress, cupboard, study tables, and chairs. A Typical Day at IIM Sambalpur starts at 8:30 AM. Students wake up accordingly to attend their classes from 8:30 AM. Each lecture is for 75 minutes followed by a 15-minute tea break.
