Dr. P. V. Krishna Murthy is a principal of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad. He is a fellow of Institution of Engineers, Chartered Engineer of Institution of Engineers, and life member of Combustion Institute for Indian Chapter. He has guided several PhD scholars and worked with many industries for two decades. A 17 years of teaching experience is an asset in his career. What are your responsibilities towards the students in Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences?

“Regulation of academic and administration systems, policies, and procedures of the campus”

The primary responsibility of a principal is to administrate academics, monitor the policies, systems and functioning of college. It is necessary to support the overall needs of students. Another role of principal is to provide leadership, direction and coordination with the school. The vital focus is to maintain educational programs and promote teaching methods. I want to create an organization that helps the growth of students and teachers.

How does your department prepare students for higher education?

“Establish training, career councils, training and placements for pupils”

The brighter future of students shapes through career resources and placement cells. A department function in the college contains great responsibilities. We establish training cells for students and they are monitored by placement officers. Our campus provides career counseling, Workshops, All-inclusive Training, mock interviews and industrial visits for students.
