Which is the best in EE and ME, IIT Dhanbad, Bhubaneswar, Patna , Jodhpur or Mandi?
I don’t know much about other IITs and am familiar with the situation in IIT Patna only. My brother is currently a student there in the Electrical branch. He says that the situation here is nothing that people with preconceived notions regarding Patna or Bihar think it to be.
IIT Patna UG EE Courses are great and it’s considered the toughest branch for a UG student like any other IITs. However, the curriculum here is very diverse and you will be introduced to both Electrical and Electronics and you can decide which one intrigues you more. You can pursue Coding and Open Source Development too as an electrical student. You will be surprised to know that IIT Patna’s best coded is a senior m of the EE Branch who cleared Google Code Jam and was also part of this year’s ACM-ICPC Team which qualified for the World Final and secured 56 Rank. There are many other examples of students who cleared GSoC.
IIT Patna also encourages its students to pursue research or go for Higher Studies. The professors and seniors offer relentless support.

During the pre-placement season, many companies visit IIT BHU to recruit students as interns. In 2021, students of this IIT received a total of 446 paid internship offers from 80 recruiters. Is the executive PGDM course from Alliance University recognized by WES Canada? Is it considered equivalent to a master’s degree?
Someone I know recently got his PGDM degree evaluated by WES. To answer your question, the one-year PGDM diploma is not considered a master’s. My friend completed his Executive PGDM with Business Analytics as a specialization. Canada’s equivalent report for his degree is as follows. - According to reports as per 2019, LNMIIT Jaipur recorded the highest salary package as 36 LPA and the average salary package 10 LPA. The top recruiters included Amazon, Oyo, Microsoft, Sapient, Goldman Sachs, etc. Students also get selected for GSoC from LNMIIT.

How is IIIT in Bhubaneswar for an M.Tech in a CSE?
The CSE department is the best at IIIT Bhubaneswar. The institute intakes students into the M.Tech programs through GATE. The eligibility criteria for MTech in CSE is a B.Tech in a relevant field and valid score in GATE exam. The GATE cutoff in the closing round in 2019 for CSE was 603 (General). The course fee for the first-year is INR 1.76 LPA.

Which is better IIT Indore mechanical or Bhubaneswar ECE?
Both the ECE and Mechanical courses are good, so you should choose the course you are interested in.
The first batch of Electronics and communication batch in IIT Bhubaneswar will pass out in 2020 which is why placement stats are not available. However, IIT Bhubaneswar had a good placement record in the academic year 2018-19, 90% of students got placed with an average of 11.4 LPA from IIT Bhubaneswar.
Out of 32 students, 29 students in the mechanical branch got placed in reputed companies with an attractive package in IIT Indore in 2018. The highest package was offered was HPCL that is 16 i.e. lakhs. The average package in IIT Indore was 9.13 LPA. The faculties at both the IITs are outstanding. Now, coming to course Electronics courses falls between in the middle of core and software. So, Electronics students get jobs quite easily in the software domain also. ECE students have a wider scope than the mechanical branch. If you compare college then IIT Indore will be the better option than IIT Bhubaneswar but if your interest is in the subject then ECE will be a better choice than mechanical.
What is the GATE cutoff for Computer Science at IIT Bhubaneswar?
GATE cutoff varies based on the categories of the qualified candidates, and subjects. The previous year’s GATE cutoff for computer science at IIT Bhubaneswar for different categories of candidates was General (625), OBC (563), SC (419), and ST (419).
