Although Christ University has a huge reputation nation-wide, it is mainly known for its management and undergraduate programs.
I decided to pursue my B.Tech from Christ, but I found out that this institution is not the best option in Bangalore for engineering studies. After a lot of research and consultation with my friends, I have curated a list of good engineering colleges in Bangalore which you can consider for your B.Tech.
Here is the list-
Christ is well known in the industry, but it does not have any standing in the job market for engineering courses. It offers average level B.Tech courses. Thus, I would recommend you consider other good engineering colleges in Bangalore for a B.Tech instead of opting for Christ.
As a former student at LPU, I would suggest you go for a BTech ECE at LPU.
LPU has attained high rankings in the past years, and it is one of the best private universities in India. It has been ranked 50th among top Engineering colleges in India by NIRF Ranking 2023. Additionally, there are several options to pursue specialised BTech ECE programs with industry collaborations and international credit transfer option.
Here are some advantages of pursuing a BTech (ECE) at LPU-
Due to these reasons, I selected LPU for my B.Tech ECE degree, and I would recommend the same to you as well.

I did my BTech from LPU in 2023. I can say it is one of the top private universities to do BTech. I say this because of 3 main reasons:
LPU’s BTech CSE department has tied-up Google, CompTIA and various other automation companies. LPU has state of the art labs with latest technology to provide hands on practical exposure to students. Students can also go for semester exchange program.
The choice between IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Hyderabad can be challenging. Still, IIT Bhubaneswar is a better option as it has a high standard of learning and offers excellent research facilities for students.
Mechanical Engineering (ME) aspirants often compare LPU and Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow, for their B.Tech programs.
LPU stands out as a better choice for ME due to its superior placement records, accreditations, and facilities.
Yes, LPU offers Psychology programs.
You can opt for BA (Hons.) in Psychology at LPU. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that you must score min. 60% in class 12th with English as a compulsory subject. You’ll be required to successfully complete LPUNEST for the admission. In addition to BA Hons. program, LPU also offers an MA in Psychology.
