Is NIT Goa good? What companies come for placement and what salary do they offer?
I will share my experience at NIT Goa after I took admission in M.Tech in VLSI at the institute. Please remember that these will be my thoughts and might differ from person to person.
College Campus –
- NIT Goa currently operates from a temporary campus located at Goa Engineering College in Farmagudi, Goa which is approximately 29 km away from the state capital at Panaji.
- Since it is a temporary campus, it has limited accommodation facilities and thus M.Tech and Ph.D. pursuing boys are not given any hostel. They have to stay on their own.
- For food, you can use the hostel mess and college canteens which will cost you around INR 40 – 50 per day.
- For commuting, you can use the bus service provided by the college completely free of cost. Otherwise, you can definitely keep your own motorcycle or scooter since you are staying outside campus.
Academics –
- There is a separate VLSI lab for M.Tech students which is open for use 24X7. Each M.Tech student is allocated a separate PC with its user ID.
- The labs have access to all the required software you will ever need to play around with, simulate and verify your ideas. For example Cadence, MATLAB, Mentor, and Xilinx.
Placements –
- In the VLSI domain, many companies such as Intel Corporation, NXP Semiconductor, Global Foundries, and ON Semiconductor visit the campus for summer internships while companies like Sankhya Labs and C-DAC have visited the campus for final placements.
- The industry tie-ups are increasing and will increase further as more students pass from the institute.

In my experience, NIT Goa has been very good for me. I have had a very good social life. However you will also need to work hard during your years at the institute.
What is the placement scenerio of EIE in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is quite a good subject to pursue at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering. My friends studying there said that around 10 companies pay a visit to the campus every individual month for as long as 6 months in a row.
Accenture, being one of the top firms, recruited more than 700 applicants while Cognizant claimed as another leading company, hired more than 500 students in the placement drive. Alongside the two, Infosys hired over 300 students.

What are the placement package of NIT Hamirpur branchwise?
During NIT Hamirpur placements 2023, the highest package stood at INR 52 LPA while the average package stood at INR 12.84 LPA. In all, 36 recruiters participated in the placement process. The placement statistics of NIT Hamirpur branch-wise have been tabulated below (2022)

From the above table, it can be concluded that the highest number of students were placed from the Computer Science branch followed by the Mechanical Engineering branch. Also, the CSE branch had the highest placement percentage.
How are the placements for global academy of technology, Bangalore for CSE/ISE and what is the highest package?
According to my friends studying at Global Academy of Technology Bangalore, the placements are quite nice. The packages offered to the students can depend on the company and the salary depends a lot on the performance of the students.
Median salary packages are in the range of INR 3–4 Lakhs per annum for all the branches. The salary package reports are not determined concerning the CSE or ISE branch, rather they are calculated according to the sector in which the candidate gets placed.

All these factors make the Global Academy of Technology great for higher education and for a professional environment for studies. The institution is located in Bangalore which offers good exposure to the IT Sector for students. One of my friends who is a graduate of this college was recruited by Infosys as a system engineer in 2018.
What is the average package of NSIT COE?
Instead of checking the average package, you should check the median package. This is because the average package does not always give an accurate picture. If a student from that branch/course gets placed in say, Google or Facebook at a package of around 1CPA, this would drastically lift the average package figure.
On the other hand, the median package is the salary in the middle when salaries are arranged in an increasing/ decreasing order. The median package offered to the B.Tech students at NSUT for 2022 placements was INR 16 LPA.

How is 5 years integrated law course of BHU and how is the placement there?
BHU LLB Course is better than most Indian Colleges. Some of its salient features are:

Placements-
The placements at BHU are above average. You might get to work in law firms, practicing in courts under a senior lawyer. Other corporate sectors or legal advisory jobs are also available. Many BHU students also prefer pursuing Judiciary.
Since PESIT and PES University are both on the same campus, will there be any difference in the placement and education in the two? If so, then which will be better?
In terms of placements, there is no difference as such- whether you talk about PESIT or PES, both colleges provide good placements.
The students of both universities get to sit together with each other inside the campus. Jobs depend upon how well you perform with your abilities. The better you put your abilities to use, the higher your chances of getting a job are.

But if we consider education, there is a difference that is to be marked. If I talk about PES, this is a University entirely. On the other hand, PESIT falls under VTU which is the South Campus. Now, faculty-wise, both the colleges share a fine set of faculty that can inspire you in many ways. You can end up learning a lot from them.
How are placements at IIM Indore?
There is a lot of work that any IIM/IIT must put in these days to ensure that the flag of their respective colleges flies high, and IIM Indore is no exception.
During the IIM Indore MBA summer placements 2024, the highest and average stipends were INR 6 lakh and INR 2.74 lakh for two months, respectively. During the IIM Indore MBA summer placements in 2024, more than 140 companies made offers. Leading companies such as Bain & Company, BCG, and KPMG were among the top recruiters for IIM Indore summer placements for the 2024 batch.
Previously, the highest and average package offered to the EPGP department during IIM Indore placements in 2022 was INR 70 LPA and INR 25.90 LPA, respectively.
What are the placement statistics of M.Tech. CSE in NIT, Warangal?
You will be glad to know that during NIT Warangal MTech placements 2023, the highest number of students were placed from the CSE and CSI.

The highest salary bagged by NIT Warangal MTech students was from the CS&E department followed by the CS & Information Security branch.
Can someone get a 60 lacs+ package while working in India after graduating from IIT Delhi?
It is certainly possible for someone to earn a salary of 60 lacs or more after graduating from IIT Delhi but these job opportunities are usually stationed abroad. Some of the top companies in the country, such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, are known to offer high salaries to top talent from lITs around INR 1.2 crore. One will have to settle abroad to avail of such high packages.
If you are adamant about staying in India, you can target companies like
- Goldman Sachs
- Tower Research
- World Quant
The highest package you can expect from these companies is around INR 45 LPA. However, it is important to note that the specific salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, such as the individual's qualifications, experience, and the specific job or company they are applying to.
