If I apply for a fee waiver seat in aktu and the 5% fee waiver seats get occupied then will I be treated as a general candidate or I will be out of counselling?
Fee Waiver or FW seats are different from regular ones. You will have to give higher priority to seats with the FW option to opt for it.

The process to get your counseling fees back is quite simple. Private colleges deduct 50% of fees, college maintenance charges, and library charges. But in the case of government colleges, no such issue is there.
Can I get a UP scholarship if I am through with AKTU counseling and my percentage is below 60?
Yes, you can avail scholarships offered by the UP government at AKTU Counseling. It does not matter how you got your admission (direct or through counseling). Your percentage does not affect your scholarship. But it depends on a few terms and conditions:

No, AKTU is not a deemed university.
Abdul Kalam Technical University is a public collegiate university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is an affiliating university with approximately 800 colleges affiliated with it.

How can I get my corrected UPTU (now AKTU) degree certificate? How much time would it take?
My sister's friend shared her experience of getting her corrected AKTU degree certificate. Her mark sheet had some errors. She visited the AKTU campus in Lucknow along with essential documents. The entire procedure of correction took 2 hours. She was able to leave the AKTU office with her corrected mark sheet after 2 hours only.
You can also pay a visit to the AKTU campus for the same and get your mark sheet corrected in a few hours. If you want your mark sheet to be posted at your address, pay INR 100 and it will be delivered to your home address.
What are the consequences of not opting for an open elective course from NPTEL in AKTU?
Not opting for an open elective course from NPTEL in AKTU does not have any direct bad impact on your results unless you are in the final semester.
If you are a final semester student it becomes necessary to enlist in NCER(non-conventional energy resources). Submit your assignments timely and pass the final exam. In case you fail to do so, your result will have a COP and you will be required to give a back paper.
I’d recommend students in all semesters enroll in elective subjects of their choice. Completion of the course will give them a certificate from NPTEL which has enough value.

In terms of academics, faculty, infrastructure, placements, the educational atmosphere on campus, Galgotias College of Engineering is better than ABESEC Ghaziabad.
