You will be placed from the BIT Mesra (main) campus after your final semester. As most of the placements happen at Mesra campus, you will get the opportunity to showcase your skills in front of big-shot brands like Amazon, Flipkart, Directi, etc. For the 2023 placements from the Jaipur campus, as per now, the highest package for B.Tech stands at INR 51 LPA and the median package stands at INR 8.2 LPA. A total of 53% B.Tech students from the Jaipur campus have been placed.

Moreover, your degree will have the BIT Mesra tag, your campus name (Jaipur Campus) will not be mentioned in your degree ( this is regardless of whichever campus you belong to). As BIT Mesra is a brand in itself, you will easily grab a good job after your degree. However, you should consult the alumni from the Jaipur campus to know about the teaching faculty for CSE over there. This is because faculty matters as much. 

BIT Jaipur campus is a good place to pursue your B.Tech CSE in terms of placements. You should talk to the seniors and alumni of the college to find out about the faculty and overall environment over there.

During NIT Jalandhar Placements 2022, the highest number of students placed were from Computer Science & Engineering. 151 B.Tech students & 6 M.Tech students were placed by the recruiters.

1. It’s a harsh reality but luck plays a huge role in placements. Sometimes it will shock you how people with no potential at all get offered great job opportunities.
2. Confidence and patience are really important during placements.
3. You need to prepare well to get placed. By sitting for various companies too, you will get a lot of experience and exposure on the do’s and don'ts.
4. Placement season is the best and worst time of your college life. This is when you get to know the difference between fake and real friends.
5. Learn to be satisfied with the job that you end up in. It is your grades, caliber, and level of preparation that have brought you here. A comparison with others is of no use.
6. Sometimes people become rude after getting placed in a top company for a good package. Learn to ignore them and remain calm.
7. Only you know your hard work, worth and potential. Don’t let others talk you down with rude words.
8. Some of your close friends may not get a good placement. This is the time when you support them.
9. Utilize your time after placements. Get productive, don’t be lazy.

It only hires from the country's Top 3 Business Schools for its coveted front-end Investment Banking position. The company only hires through the summer placement process from three Indian business schools whose Finance curriculum, practical exposure, and candidate quality meet the company's high expectations, which include a salary of INR 66 LPA.

The company typically hires candidates with Outstanding academic records from Old IITs/BITs/CAs/Top Commerce Colleges and conducts interviews that can be very challenging, especially when focusing on the candidate's business and financial intellect. Interns who can manage an 80-100 hour work week during their summer internship while consistently delivering high-quality analysis, ideas, and presentations are offered a Pre-Placement offer for their coveted Front End Investment Banking role. During the two-month summer internship, the company pays a stipend of Rs 2 lakh per month.
