The most important factor to get into any IIM for your PGP is to score well in CAT (Common Aptitude Test).
Upon successfully clearing your CAT, you’ll get a call from the IIMs for the next step, which is a Written Ability Test (WAT) and/or GD and/or PI. Your performance in these will ultimately determine your fate. Apart from your CAT score, your past academic performance plays a major role in getting you a call from any IIM. This includes your 10th, 12th and graduation scores. Each IIM has a different weightage for every factor.
Make sure to perform well in your CAT exam, and ace your GD and PI rounds to increase your chances of selection into IIM Indore.
Management quota seats are seats at colleges in India that are set aside for members of the management, trust, clergy, and VIPs. According to the institution, there are between 5 and 10% of seats available. The college and trust have complete discretion over who gets to sit in these seats. The existence of management quota seats in institutes like IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, and MDI Gurgaon is not well known. For students who are unable to get admission on their own through the entrance tests, this opportunity is available. The fees for these seats are not disclosed by the institutes on any platform. For admission to the management quota seat, you have to contact these colleges at the phone numbers provided on their websites. You first have to check your eligibility and then have to pay a huge amount.
There are 15 NRI quota seats out of 100 seats in every branch of MBBS at RUHS Jaipur. Only students with Rajasthan domicile, an NRI account with Rajasthan counseling can join through the NRI quota.
In the NRI quota, there is no reservation. An AIR of around 40,000 should get you a seat in RUHS through the NRI quota.
Due to your below-average 10th score and the fact that you do not have any relevant work experience, you might face some difficulty but there is a possibility that these universities will contact you for an interview; nevertheless, this is not a given. Never give up on your hopes and faith. CAT percentile, academic background, work experience, extracurricular activities, and other variables influence whether IIM ABC or FMS Delhi calls you. Despite a 98 percentile CAT score, elite B-schools may not call.
These institutes weigh diversity and academic diversity in their selection process, so your academic background and OBC status may help you. These institutes' cut-offs may change year to year depending on candidates' CAT scores.
However, with a 98 percentile CAT score, you may receive calls from top B-schools. To improve your chances of selection, focus on your entire profile—academics, work, and extracurriculars. All the best buddy!
During the shortlisting at IIM Kozhikode, a candidate is selected on the basis of his/her CAT score, 12th marks, graduation score, work experience and academic and/or gender diversity.
98 percentile is decent enough to get you an interview call if you have a very good academic record and 3 or more years of work experience. But to convert the call, you’ll have to perform well in the GD PI round. The final shortlisting gives a high weightage to GD PI and/or WAT and work experience of a candidate.
Make sure to score high in your CAT exam, and perform equally well in the GD PI/ WAT round. This will increase your selection chances at IIM Kozhikode.
If you are interested in pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in Kolkata, there are a few steps you will need to take to apply for admission:
It is important to note that the admission process for IIFT Kolkata can be highly competitive, and it is recommended to start preparing for the entrance exams well in advance. Additionally, it is important to keep track of the important dates and deadlines for admission and to ensure that all required documents and fees are submitted on time.
The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc. Biotech at an Indian college is having passed 10th and 12th with Physics, Biology/Maths and Chemistry as core subjects, and at least 50% overall (45% for SC, ST) and 60% in each of the core subjects in the 12th boards. Both PCM and PCB candidates can opt for BSc. Biotech.
Given that the eligibility criteria demands at least 50% in the 12th boards, it might not be possible for you to seek admission into BSc. Biotechnology at an Indian college.
But I would advise you to go through the eligibility criteria of some of the private colleges by visiting their official website.
Based on your academic performance, you have the potential to be admitted to the top 30 colleges for MBA programs. It is recommended to focus on preparing for and achieving the best percentile possible in exams such as CAT and other relevant exams. It is unclear who has provided you with the options previously mentioned, but it is important to consider other options that may be more suitable for you.
Some of the options that you have a chance to receive an invitation from and potentially convert into an acceptance include the following:
It is always important to make informed decisions by researching and discussing your options before making a final decision.
If you get any other better options from other NITs or IITs then go for it. Assam University is overall good considering the environment, infrastructure, and facilities. The CSE department is better among the others.
Assam University has a diverse student crowd. Success mainly depends on how well you know the subject you are pursuing, your skills, and how you prepare to shape your future. If you are hardworking enough the institute would not be a problem. If you need a more disciplined institute that will guide you in every way, then it might not be a good choice.
If we talk about the brand value and worth of these two IIMs I don’t think there are many dissimilarities. The difference between the two is some personal level factors like
Campus: IIM Ranchi has no permanent campus and this is one of the major shortcomings of this institute. IIM Raipur on the other hand has a vast 200-acre campus. It is decked with world-class facilities and will give you the feeling of staying at a hotel.
Placements: IIM Raipur has better placements than IIM Ranchi and for many, this is a major deciding factor. The table below compares the placement statistics of the two IIMs.
