One of my friends is a student of BIT Mesra and yet claims that joining NIT Rourkela would have been a better decision. He regrets choosing BIT Mesra because
Overall, I will say BIT Mesra offers a good academic environment but that is it. It lacks a vibrant college life so if you are looking for one, choose NIT Rourkela!
My cousin is an alumnus of NITIE and has spent two years in the institute as a student. His opinion is based on professional experience and may not be true for summer and final placements at SJMSOM and XLRI.
A counter-argument can turn up claiming that the companies do not look at the scores. It is up to the students concerned to follow this notion.
Both the branches, be it ECE or IT are similar in LNCT. The branch to be taken should not anyhow depend on the college rather it should depend on your interest.
Categories | IT at LNCT Bhopal |
Course Fee | 4.38 lakh |
Placement Percentage | 70-80% |
Highest CTC | 22 LPA |
Average CTC | 9 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. |
It is suggested that you go for IT at LNCT, as it has more placement on campus and opportunities for IT students.
Most MBA aspirants prefer IIM Shillong over SIBM Pune. Having an IIM degree certainly offers some perks. You will get better placement opportunities and exposure. IIM Shillong placements 2022 had an average CTC of around INR 21.71 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.2 LPA. The institute offers a high ROI.
Unquestionably BIT Mesra would be a better option than NIT Agartala. According to India Today BIT Mesra comes in third position among all top engineering colleges of India. There are several reasons to choose BIT Mesra over NIT Agartala they are as follows:
BIT Mesra offers a compelling opportunity for a solid academic foundation, good placement statistics, and a dynamic learning environment that is ideal for being a better choice than NIT Agartala.
XLRI Jamshedpur is one of the top business schools in India, and its HR program is highly respected in the industry. Graduating from XLRI with an HR degree can open up many opportunities for you in the HR field, including roles in recruitment, training and development, employee relations, and more. The highest international package offered is Rs. 1.1 Crore for the HR domain, and an average package ranging from 19 to 30 LPA with a vast alumni base are the reasons which make the XLRI (HRM) the most sought-after management program in India.
In terms of the difference between HRM and BM (Business Management) at XLRI, both programs have their unique advantages and career paths. HRM is focused on developing skills related to human resource management, while BM provides a broader business education covering different aspects of management.
Ultimately, the choice between HRM and BM at XLRI depends on your personal interests and career goals. Both programs have excellent faculty and resources, and you can be confident in the education you receive at XLRI, no matter which program you choose.
I think comparing both IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta is doing injustice to these colleges. Both the IIMs are excellent at their own level.
If you consider the rankings then IIM Ahmedabad tips the list and IIM Calcutta comes next. But do rankings really matter that much? It might be possible that a certain college is on top of the list but inconvenient for you and a certain college is second in the list and is best suited for you.
I have seen friends who have rejected offers from IIM Ahmedabad and went for IIM Calcutta because it suited their needs better.
Some special features of IIM Calcutta that IIM Ahmedabad does not have are:
A finance lab with a Bloomberg terminal
Top notch finance faculty
CEMS-MiM programme (Masters in Management programme ranked 7th in the world)
So yes IIM Ahmedabad is the best IIM but IIM Calcutta is also not an ordinary one. Choose the one that suits your needs best rather than which ranks the most.
According to the reviews online, here is a comparison between the two colleges Nirma University and PDPU.
Categories | Nirma University | PDPU |
Course Fee | INR 7.24 lakh | INR 9.73 lakh |
Placement Percentage | 70% | 70% |
Highest CTC | 12 LPA | 10-12 LPA |
Average CTC | 5 LPA | 6 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | L&T, Bosch, etc. | Hindustan Unilever, Nayara Energy, etc. |
Lastly, it can be stated that Nirma is slowly deteriorating, on the other hand PDPU is gaining popularity and recognition. So, if you want to pursue Petroleum Engineering go for PDPU, otherwise Nirma will be a better option.
Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) both are private engineering colleges in New Delhi affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). There is not much of a difference between them in terms of the syllabus of the branches.
Here are some of the things that you should know about the two courses.

Choose a branch according to your strengths and passion. In terms of college, both are almost equal and branches should be the differentiator rather than the college.
Most of the students in Bangalore recommend ISBR College over other colleges for studying PGDM. It is so because there are better learning opportunities and you will get theoretical as per as practical exposure in the management field.
The following points make it more clear for you to choose this college over others:
The second choice would be ISME Bangalore. The faculties are good with great infrastructural facilities. The placement opportunities are also excellent. The projects and assignments which will be allocated to you will help you in learning and working in the corporate world. The college also has a very competitive environment.
