Which one should I join MBA, BE, DU or IIM Sirmaur?

DS
Darshak Sinha Posted On : April 14th, 2022
MBA Marketing & Data Analytics, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (2021)

IIM Sirmaur is the best option among these. You will get good learning opportunities there. The faculties are highly qualified as any other IIM. Due to the smaller batch size, students get the required attention from professors.

The institute has a good placement record. IIM Sirmaur placement 2021 had an average CTC of INR 9.60 LPA. Besides the on-campus placement drive, the brand value will help you get jobs through offline applications.

Which is a better option in Jain University in Bangalore: MBA or MMS?

SJ
Souvick Jain Posted On : April 6th, 2023
MBA Marketing, Jain University (2019)

Jain University in Bangalore offers both MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MMS (Master of Management Studies) programs. Both of these programs have their own unique features and benefits, and the choice between the two ultimately depends on your individual goals and preferences. Here are some key differences between the two programs to help you make an informed decision:

MBA Program:

  • MBA is a postgraduate degree program that typically focuses on developing general management skills, with a broad curriculum that covers a wide range of business functions such as finance, marketing, operations, and human resources.
  • MBA programs are designed for students who have some work experience and are looking to advance their careers or transition into management roles.
  • MBA programs often offer more flexibility in terms of course offerings, allowing students to tailor their studies to their specific interests and career goals.
  • Jain University's MBA program is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and offers a range of specializations such as Finance, Marketing, HRM, Operations, Entrepreneurship, and Business Analytics.

MMS Program:

  • MMS is also a postgraduate degree program, but it is more specialized and focuses specifically on management studies, with a curriculum that is typically more focused on business strategy, organizational behavior, and leadership.
  • MMS programs are designed for students who want to gain a deeper understanding of management principles and practices and are looking to transition into management roles.
  • MMS programs often have a more structured curriculum and may not offer as much flexibility in terms of course offerings.
  • Jain University's MMS program is affiliated with Bangalore University and offers specializations in Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management.

When considering which program to choose, you should take into account your personal interests, career goals, and the type of knowledge and skills you want to gain. Some factors to consider include:

  • Specialization: If you have a specific area of interest within management, you may want to consider an MBA program that offers a specialization in that area. Alternatively, if you want a more general overview of management principles, an MMS program may be more suitable.
  • Work Experience: MBA programs typically require some work experience, whereas MMS programs may be more suitable for students who are just starting their careers.
  • Course Structure: MBA programs tend to offer more flexibility and course options, while MMS programs may have a more structured curriculum.

Both MBA and MMS programs at Jain University are well-regarded and offer excellent opportunities for professional and personal growth. It's important to consider your own goals and preferences when deciding which program is right for you.

How is the MBA course in NSIBM Jamshedpur affiliated to Kolhan University?

TJ
Tarun Juneja Posted On : October 22nd, 2021
Studied B.Com Accounting, Kolhan University (2014)

Why are you thinking about NSIBM in the first place? Try for competitive exams and try to get into a top-tier management school.

As far as NSIBM is concerned I would not suggest it. The curriculum is not up to the mark and you need a good education to better prepare you for the future.

The following can be the reasons if you are joining this college:

  • You have scored low in UG.
  • You won't be able to clear competitive exams with a good percentile.
  • You are a resident of Jamshedpur and it will provide you with a location advantage.

If you are pursuing MBA then join a good college.

Placements:

  • Almost 50% of the students were placed internally, and 20 to 30% of the students got outside campus placements.

I have 65% in class 12. Am I eligible for MBA in imt Ghaziabad?

NS
Nikhil Singh Posted On : March 24th, 2021
MBA Ghaziabad

An MBA Institute asks for certain qualities in a student when they finally opt for them to be part of a specific institute, let alone IMT Ghaziabad. Most of them are decided by some factors.

  • IMT Ghaziabad usually asks for a three to four year bachelor degree with 50% aggregate and an aptitude test score usually, CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT.
  • The cutoffs for aptitude test scores are usually decided each year before admissions, but anyone can expect anywhere between the 90 percentile mark as mentioned.
  • Class 12 marks can form a very integral part of the first impression that the institute is going below upon someone. However, the actual weightage of these factors can vary from person to person, rather from institute to institute on the basis of their admission strategy. But, although class 12 marks can form the first impression, a high percentile in CAT/XAT can easily compensate for the fact that somebody has scored less in their plus two.
  • There are various individuals whose 12th scores were as low as 69.9%, but they still got into IMT Ghaziabad (full time) because of their good CAT score.

Thus, in conclusion, a good CAT score is mandatory for everybody and everyone should prepare well for it.

How is the IIM Ahmedabad executive MBA program different from the IIM Ahmedabad MBA program?

TD
Tezal Dahiya Posted On : October 20th, 2023

PGPX and PGPM are tailored for two different kinds of groups. Here are some differences and similarities between these two programs offered by IIM Ahmedabad-

  • Profile- The PGPX crowd is quite diverse. Students of PGPX have a high work experience (an average of 7 years). PGPM students have an experience of around 2.5 to 3 years on an average.
  • Duration- PGPX lasts for 1 year while PGPM lasts for 2.
  • Faculty- The teaching staff is the same for both programs.
  • Courses- A few PGPX courses can be taken by PGPM students, but not the other way around.
  • Teaching method- PGPX is based on interaction while PGPM is instruction-based.
  • Focus- The PGPX course is more focused in nature. This is because working professionals with such high experience know about their goals and ambitions.

If you have more than 6 years of work experience, PGPX is a better choice. Otherwise, opt for PGPM.
