What should i do, CSE from NIT Srinagar or chemical engineering from NIT Trichy?

First of all, it depends on your area of interest. If you find yourself gravitating towards software development, programs, machine learning and all computer-related stuff then pursuing CSE is your option. However, if you find yourself gravitating towards chemicals, chemistry, and how chemicals interact, then you should opt for Chemical engineering. When it comes to choosing the institutes, NIT Trichy is better than NIT Srinagar in all aspects. NIT Trichy is the best among all the NITs. It is known for its wonderful faculty and the campus life that it gives to the students. The chemical engineering department of NIT Trichy is also one of every eBay and reputed. The faculty is well-experienced and guides students. You will also have access to NIT Trichy’s vast industry connections.

IT Trichy is one of the best options available for anyone. The chemical department has a good number of students in terms of ratio, and the placement scope is also great. A few aspects that make NIT Trichy a better option are as follows:

  • Teachers at the Department of Chemical Engineering at NIT, Trichy are all highly qualified Ph.D. holders. Industrial visits for students are common.
  •  According to the NIRF report NIT Trichy ranked 9 among the top engineering institutions in India.
  • Teachers at NIT, Trichy have good contacts with many companies. Companies like Google, Axis Bank, Nestle, L&T, and ONGC visit to hire students. The average salary offered is around INR15 LPA and the highest is INR 40 LPA. On-campus placements are higher at NIT, Trichy compared to NIT, Srinagar.
