Is it better to pursue a BTech in BIT Mesra or in Thapar University, Patiala?

Electrical Engineering is better to go for BIT Meresa whereas for everything else it is better to go for Thapar. 

• The quality of students will be much better in Thapar. 
• CSE has high cutoffs ranging from 190–210 JEE score and Mechanical and ECE also has students having around 170–175. 
• Whereas, in BITS, there will be many people who enter because they have a good board percentage, not a good JEE score. 
• For CSE and Mechanical, it has to be Thapar above BITS while for ECE and Electrical, BITS would be better. 
• Campus life and fests of Thapar are better as I have heard BITS has bad administration. 
• Thapar has increased its seats which has seen a fall in cutoffs of recent batches. The total batch strength is now around 1700. 
• The university has improved the existing labs and new labs have been created recently to get accreditations like ABET etc.
