SRM Institute of Science and Technology

DTU and NSIT are the best options among these, with great placement records and academics. These are counted among the top-tier technological institutes in the country. The type of exposure you will get at these institutes will not only help in performing well in academics but also help develop confidence. DTU placements 2022 shows the average CTC to be around INR 15.31 LPA. According to NSIT placement highlights of recent years, the median CTC offered is around INR 13 LPA.

SRM, and Manipal don’t belong to the same tier as DTU and NSIT.

  • If you wish to pursue B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, and ICE, then you should go for NSUT as it has an excellent coding culture. It also has a dedicated student crowd, a good alumni network, and an excellent placement record when compared to many other NIT’s for these same branches.
  • On the other hand, if you want to do Engineering in core branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or any other subcategory like the Automobile, DTU is considered as a better option for such core branches
  • MIT and SRM are regarded as the top Tier 2 colleges as they have a good placement record and an excellent infrastructure.

Overall, DTU and NSUT are better than MIT or SRM in alumni network, placements, crowd, reputation as well as return value.
