DTU placements 2022 are now concluded with 403 companies participating making 2459 offers. DTU highest international package stood at INR 1.8 CPA which was offered by Palantir, London and highest domestic package stood at INR 64.23 LPA whereas DTU average package stood at INR 15.16 LPA. A total of 413 ofers were above INR 20 LPA or more.

7th semester students are eligible for campus placement and more than 70 companies visit for campus placement and more than 60 percent gets offered. The highest package was 1.8 crore and average package is 22 lakhs

The average placement of the Ece branch is 18 lakhs per annum. For the year 2023, The percentage of students getting a place is close to 95% The batch of the Ece department has a strength of 500 students, and 457 students got placement.

The highest package of 1.62 cr was bagged by a student in the 2022 year. Due to the recession, our placement fell from 97% to 59% but this number will increase again back. Package in branch is 12 Lpa whereas someone pursuing a Bachelor's in Technology with Specialisation in Computer science has an average package of 23 Lpa. I plan to do an MBA after my Bachelor's in Technology.

For core branches, only top IITs, BITS and some reputed state colleges like Jadavpur University offer decent placement opportunities. So, for core placement, DTU is way behind IIT BHU and Guwahati. According to the placement highlights of 2019, the environmental engineering department received a total of 38 placement offers and 27 students from the department got placed. The highest CTC received by the students of this department was around 16 LPA in this academic season. In the past students of environmental engineering received placement packages up to 25 lakhs per annum. The company offering the package was Brother Industries and the post was software developer. Students are offered lucrative packages at reputed firms such as ZS, MuSigma, Deloitte, UHG, Practo, RNF, Printvenue, etc. These companies offer average placement packages of around 5-6 lakhs per annum for non-tech posts. However, placements are not too promising for core companies. But a number of software firms, consultancies, analytics, R&D, finance MNCs visit the campus for placement sessions.
How are the placements of mechanical engineering students at DTU?
The placement statistics of Delhi Technical University are not declared by the training and placement department of the institute. For the M. tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, the no. of offers made was 28 and about 22 students got placed. The highest CTC offered was about 8 Lakhs per annum.
