DTU admission 2023 is based on various national-level and university-based entrance examinations. The university accepts JEE Main, GATE, and UCEED entrance examinations for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, and B.Des programs, respectively. The final selection will be done through JAC counselling. For MBA, MDes, MSc, and PhD, DTU conducts its own entrance exams. DTU BBA admissions are made on the basis of Class 12 merits.
For its flagship B.Tech program B.Tech, DTU offers lateral entry option and also offers admissions under continuing education for working professionals. Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers a full-time B.Tech course in 15 specializations. The minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education. However, final admission is based on the score in JEE Main Followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
The university also accepts applications for B.Tech lateral entry admissions from the best eligible candidates. However, the NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals candidates can take admission through DASA (Direct Admission of Students’ Abroad). JEE Main ranks shall be considered for the admission of such candidates.

University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME) is the new campus of Delhi Technological University located in East Delhi. It offers BBA and BA (Honors) Economics at UG level. 50% marks in 10+2 is the minimum eligibility criteria for these courses. The merit list will be drawn on the basis of total scores of best 4 subjects including English as a subject.
Admission is granted on the basis of marks in 10+2. DTU also offers B.Des. with an intake of 60 students which is offered for a duration of four years.
Minimum eligibility for B.Des. program is candidates must have passed 10+2/ PUC/ Intermediate examination or HSC Vocational examination recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Selection is done on the basis of UCEED score.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers M.Tech in various specializations for the duration of two years at PG level. BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. GATEqualified candidates are eligible for admission. No additional test or Interview is conducted by the University. DTU also offers admission Full-Time and Part-Time Sponsored M.Tech course through an entrance test. Admission to DTU MSc and MDes program is based on entrance test and UCEED scores. DTU conducts its own entrance exam for MSc admissions. For MDes admissions, the university accepts only CEED scores.

DTU MTech cutoff 2023 will be released after the result declaration of the GATE 2023 exam. As per previous cutoffs, VLS branch is the toughest in DTU to crack as the score required is 839 in GATE exam. The second toughest branch is the CSE with minimum marks 771 required for admission. DTU offers MBA (Regular) and MBA (Executive) in various specializations in Delhi School of Management (DSM) and University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME). Executive MBA is offered for working professionals in weekend mode only. DTU also offers Ph.D program in management as well. Any Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 60% marks in aggregate can apply for admission. Following are the specialisations being available at DTU for MBA program;
120 seats in DSM and 60 seats at USME are alloted for the program.
MBA (Regular) admission is based on a valid score in CAT followed by GD & PI while EMBA admission is granted on the basis of candidates’ performance in the qualifying degree and relevant work experience. A merit list will be prepared and if found any tie situation between two candidates while evaluation of the merit list.

DTU offers Ph.D. in various specializations related to Engineering and Management. There are four modes of offering the program:
Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. In exceptional cases considering B.Tech candidates, qualifying marks must be 75% with a record of sound valuable research activities.
DTU conducts Screening Test and Interview to offer admission in Ph.D. program. UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ DBT/ JRF qualified candidates are exempted from the Ph.D. Screening Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round only.
