Remarks :
First you need to fill the online application and submit it online before the last date. The application fee is ?60 which need to be paid through online. There is no aided seats in PG mathematics.The eligibility for admission is above 70% in your UG.Once you submitted your application, the admission incharge faculties will contact you for further process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course ,cause I want to become a maths lecturer. The student ratio in our batch was 60 students. All the faculty members have completed their PhD. They are well trained and experienced staffs. Some of the staffs have even previously worked in well known Universities in India. The teaching method of the faculties are really good and they provide more insight about the subjects whick makes us study the subject easily. The exams are conducted as per the college calendar which will be provide once you joined the college. The internal exams will be easy. But the semester exams will be little tough because they ask some creative questions, the questions will also come reference books.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship for mathematcis will include tasks of creating programs in python, matlab and R-software. I worked under infotech company in coimbatore. It is compulsory to do your internship in 2nd year of PG.
Placement Experience :
The PG student become eligible after completing the 4th semester. Infosys, Accenture, Byjus, Wipro have visited our college. The percentage of students getting placed is 60%.I plan on writing the NET/SET exam after getting the degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For PG mathematics the total semesters is 4.The fees structure for the 1st semester is ?40300.While for the remaining semesters the fee is ?27750.Hence for the 1st year the fee will be ?67000 and for the 2nd year it will be ?56000.The cost to study is comparatively good comparing to other colleges. They provide scholarships for SC/ST students
Campus Life :
The culturals will be less while compared to other colleges.But the entrepreneurship club conduct exhibition every month which is a great platform for students with creative ideas to display their arts and crafts.It also provide exposure to their startup business. The college also provide the students with extra courses like tailoring, makeup, Aari work.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility of the college is very bad. The hostel fee structure is ?32,000 per year. The mess fees is ?6000 per month.The quality of the food is not good. They provide the same sambar for every meal. There will be no non-veg. The hostel room for PG is alloted for the 15 members who come for hostel admission.Instead of choosing the college hostel you can stay in a private hostel. They are so many private hostels near the college which is also much cheaper.
Interview Experience :
There will be 3 rounds. The first round will be aptitude and english test. The second round will be technical test. The third round will be group discussion. The topic which they given us for group discussion was "The Impact of Social Media on our Lives".The college conduct PDP class (personality development Program) on every Saturday which is compulsory for all students. This PDP class helps us to prepare for placement test and interviews. The classes were taken by well trained faculties.
