Remarks :

I appeared for Jee main. The exam fee is 1300 rs and I applied on 11/7/2022. I got 98 percentile so I got mechanical engineering in Nit Durgapur and for the mechanical department, the cut-off is 96 percentile. I have no reservation benefit as I am general category

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to do it. The faculties are good enough and the student number is approx1000 per year. Faculties are phd scholar and their teaching method is also good and they are friendly to students. Exams happen here 2 times per semester:mid sem and end sem, two semesters per year and the questions of the exams are standard or sometimes hard so you have to study hard.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement each very much descent. Moreover computer science students got 87% placed and mechanical students got 82% electrical students got 85%, electronics God 87% placed and metallurgical got 90% and biotechnology got almost 80% placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are 75 thousand per year for general and for SC/st 15 thousand per year. Study costs 10000 per year and for general and annual family income below 1 lakh fees is 15 thousand I did not get any financial assistance and job to be getting

Campus Life :

Annual fest Aarohan which is to be held in November or December Library books are decent and very much available and journals also available Amenities are available So many sports activities like volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, gym So many clubs are there like dance club, debating society, centre for cognitive activities, music club, m e s a

Hostel Facilities :

For the second years hall 14 is given. All 14 is the best hall in NIT Durgapur. In each room there are three students and for each there are three beds, three reading table, three chairs. Mere qualities very much descent and very good quality Affordability very good and not at all problem to all and for every 6 month you have to pay only 15000 No room opted for PG

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
