BITS Goa Placements 2021: Average Package: INR 16 LPA & Highest Package: INR 43.3 LPA

BITS Goa is much superior to SVNIT any day for placements. Although the package that you would get offered by recruiters depends upon your skills and several other important aspects such as your credentials, the marks obtained, and many more. Here is why you should choose BITS Goa over SVNIT.

• If you want to study at US University, after graduation, BITS Goa is a better option.

For the year 2020 around 249 companies visited the BITS Pilani Goa campus recruiting various students for various roles. Some of the biggest tech companies that recruited from the campus include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Oracle, Apple, and many more.

The highest international package which the campus got was INR 1.4 crores. This is comparable to many top IITs of the country. However, you should keep in mind that very few, around 5-7, students from the top 20 engineering colleges in India get international offers. Also, most of the offers are for computer science students.

BITS Pilani Goa campus is obviously a much bigger brand than Thapar University. So you will definitely get better placement opportunities at the BITS Pilani Goa campus rather than Thapar University.

BITS Pilani does not release an official placement report. However, according to my friends at the institute, the average CTC offered at the institute is 5 LPA and the highest CTC offered is INR 1.4 crores.

Both MNNIT Allahabad and ENI at BITS Goa are highly ranked technology colleges offering amazing placement opportunities to their students. NIRF ranked BITS Goa at 17^th in the University category, whereas MNNIT was ranked at 48 for B.Tech in India 2020.

MNNIT’s last year placement ranking has seen a rise in the pay packages and the best placement record of almost 97%. BITS Goa on the other hand holds a stellar placement record of 100% since its inception. But while selecting between electrical engineering at MNNIT Allahabad or ENI at BITS Goa one needs to consider certain facts such as:

MNNIT Allahabad –

• Almost 285 companies visited MNNIT for campus recruitments including top tier companies such as Adobe, Accenture, Deloitte, Dell, BPCL, etc.
• 792 students out of 1174 were successfully placed in some of the top companies with the highest package offered in 2019 being INR 36 Lakhs (Per Annum)and the average package offered was 7.82 Lakhs (Per Annum).

BITS Goa –

• BITS Goa is renowned for the amazing placement opportunities that it has in store for the students. Ever since the institute has been established it has a 100% placement record.
• Some of the top recruiter companies visiting there campus are Facebook, Wipro, Google, Genpact, Infosys, and Schlumberger. In the year 2019, the highest package offered was INR 35 Lakhs (Per Annum), whereas the average salary offered was INR 11.47 Lakhs (Per Annum).

In recent years both MNNIT Allahabad as well as BITS Goa have seen a considerable hike in their placement opportunities for almost all courses. It depends more on the student’s interest and feasibility to choose between electrical engineering at MNNIT Allahabad or ENI at BITS Goa.
