Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Earth System Science and Technology) From IIT Guwahati, Guwahati

For admission to the MTech Programme, a candidate must have a 

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering/ Mining Engineering/ Mineral Engineering/ Geoscience Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Engineering Physics (or equivalent)/ Engineering Mathematics (or equivalent), OR
• Master of Science degree in Geology (or equivalent)/ Geophysics (or equivalent)/ Physics, Soil Physics with a minimum CPI of 6.0 or 60% of marks, OR
• Master of Science degree in Mathematics/ Chemistry and allied areas in natural sciences with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 65% marks.

The CPI/Marks criteria will be relaxed by 0.5 CPI (or 5% marks) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Tuition fees for foreign nationals: USD 2,000/- for students from SAARC countries and USD 4,000/- for students from Non-SAARC countries.
