IGNOU BA {Hons.} Sociology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The candidate should have passed 10+2 in relevant stream from a recognized board

IGNOU BA Sociology admission 2024 for the January session has been started from December 15, 2023. The last date to apply is March 10, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in. Admissions will be granted based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. Check IGNOU Admission 2024 

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts 3 years UG level degree course in BA (H) Sociology. The program is offered in Open Distance Learning Mode by the School of Social Sciences.

• For BA Sociology, the medium of language for teaching is English or Hindi
• A candidate needs to be at least 12th pass to be considered for admission
• The course will be conducted across various study centers all over India
• There is no minimum or maximum age criteria for admissions
• Selection depends on one’s merit in the qualifying examination for IGNOU's Bachelors Preparatory Programme or BPP
• The minimum duration is 3 years and the maximum duration is 6 years. Check IGNOU Admission Status

• Registration fee of Rs 300/- (Non-refundable) is to be paid at the time of admission in addition to the programme fee given in the following table. University Development fee of Rs 200/- is to be paid at the time of admission in addition to the programme fee
• Registration fee of Rs 500/- (Non-refundable) is to be paid at the time of application in addition to the programme fee given in the following FLIP (Fixed Learning Intake Programme): PGDMCH, PGDGM, PGDHHM, PGDHIVM, DNA, PGCMDM
• Registration fee of Rs 850/- (Non-refundable) is to be paid at the time of admission in addition to the programme fee
