IGNOU PGDJMC Assignments 2024

Assignments constitute continuous evaluation. The marks that you secure in the assignments will be counted in your final result. As mentioned earlier, an assignment of a course carries 30% weightage. You are therefore advised to take your assignment seriously. 

Non Submission of Assignment

The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

The Offline Admission Procedure is fairly simple and for those unwilling to go through the online application procedure . The IGNOU application form is available at the nearest regional centre for collection on weekdays or, can be downloaded from the official website.

How to Apply Online?

  • Go to the official website of the university, https://www.ignou.ac.in
  • Create an account with valid email and password to log in.
  • Find the option Register Online, click the menu.
  • Select Fresh Admission, click to go to the admissions page.
  • The application form is divided into eight sections, ‘Personal’, ‘Programme’, ‘Qualification’, ‘Course’, Correspondence Details’, ‘Uploads’, ‘Preview’, and ‘Fee’.
  • On the Personal Section, provide correct data for DOB, Gender, Religion, Applicant’s Email, Reservation Status, Area(Rural or, Urban), Social Status if applicable, Contact Number, name(s) of the ward(s), AADHAR number, PWD(if applicable), Employment Status and Scholarship Details(If eligible for the same).
  • On the Programme Section, Provide correct details for ‘Program type’, ‘Region Code for Admission’(City/Village), ‘Medium’, ‘Programme Name’, for ‘Study Centre Code’ choose the school/institution nearest to your location, ‘Mode of Study’(Open and Distance Learning).
  • On the Qualification Section, add appropriate details for ‘Qualification’, ‘Year of Passing’, ‘Percentage of Marks(rounded off), ‘Main Subject(s)’, ‘Division’, ‘Board Code’(name of the education board/university).
  • On the Course Section, check your course chart to know the topics and the credits allotted to each.
  • On the Correspondence Details Section on the form, provide the correct address, city, district, state and pin code.
  • For Uploads Section, upload scanned .jpg or .jpeg files of the photo, signature, Matriculation Mark Sheet/Certificate, 10+2 Marksheet/Certificate, Marksheet of Graduation, Degree or Provisional Certification of Graduation and other certificates of qualifications if any.
  • Check for errors or discrepancies on the Preview Section.
