NIT Surat M.Tech: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

SVNIT M.Tech admission 2024 will be based on the GATE scores followed by CCMT counseling. For SVNIT MTech Admission 2024, GATE Registrations have started from August 30. The closing date of regular registration is September 29, 2023. Along with that, the deadline for extended online registration or application process (with late fee) is 13^th October, 2023. Furthermore, GATE 2024 exam dates have been announced. GATE 2024 entrance exam will be held in the month of February. The exam dates for GATE 2024 is on February 3,4,10 & 11. 

SVNIT offers a full-time M.Tech programs across 19 specializations for a duration of 2 years which is divided into 4 semesters. SVNIT permits admission to its MTech program based upon the valid GATE scores and CCMT counselling process. SVNIT MTech cutoff in overall for the year 2023 ranges from 350-589 for the general category.

Candidates having a BTech degree from any recognized university with minimum scores as set by the institute are eligible to apply for SVNIT MTech program. However, the final selection depends on the written test and personal interview conducted by the institute. GATE qualified candidates must register themselves for CCMT counselling through its official website. The CCMT counselling will allocate seats at the institute and candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee to reserve their seats.

SVNIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for M.Tech admission at SVNIT Surat, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program must have completed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 60% aggregate.
• The merit list is prepared by giving 50% weightage to aggregate marks of B.E./B.Tech./equivalent degree and 50% weightage to Institute’s test/interview for all candidates who apply and qualify for a particular discipline. 
• In case the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a student,
  • Subject to meeting the eligibility requirements of CCMT. 
  • Non-submission of certificates within the due date will lead to automatic cancellation of admission.

SVNIT M.Tech Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program at SVNIT must appear for the GATE entrance examination. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination are then required to register for CCMT Counselling for seat allocation. Seats are allocated on the basis of GATE scores, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other factors.

• Register as a “New User”
• After successful registration, candidates will get access to GOAPS with the credentials you entered.
• Login using GOAPS Enrollment ID and GOAPS Password
• Fill in the GATE application form.
• Upload Image, Signature, Eligibility Certificate, SC/ST Certificate, and PwD Certificate as per the given specifications.
• Make the Payment through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• Read and accept the declaration statement and submit the application form.
