• Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with securing marks of at least 60% in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
• Candidates must have completed their graduation in BCA, B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BIT, B.Voc (Computer Science/ Computer Applications), B.Tech, B.E., with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the mandatory subjects in full-time mode from any recognized university.
• Students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories get a relaxation of 5% marks.

Selection: NIT Kurukshetra offers limited admissions in the MCA program and the admission is strictly based on the national level entrance test i.e. NIMCET conducted by NIT Jamshedpur. The admissions are given only after the release of the merit list prepared by the institute itself, on the basis of marks scored in NIMCET. 

NIMCET Exam Pattern

The NIMCET exam 2024 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer-based Test) mode. This test will comprise 120 multiple-choice questions containing a total of 1000 marks.
