Ans. Yes, students of SC/ST categories can get a full tuition fee waiver under the post-matric scholarship scheme for SC/ST students whose annual family income is less than INR 2,50,000.
Students' fees depend on their family's annual income. SC, ST, and Students with an annual income of less than 1 lac are not required to pay tuition fees. Many scholarship opportunities are available for students. HOD sent mail to all students about various scholarship opportunities.
Fees for one semester are app 62000 it is only the tution fees. Scholarships are there if you are sc st or obc generally have a family income of less than 1 lakh tution fess is 0. If the family income is between 1 to 5 lakh tution fees will be 20500 only. I got placed in a private software development company
There is no fee hike policy in my college and the total fee for the course is 807000 for a general category with an annual income greater than 500000. The fees also depend on the category of the student and details are given on the official sites of NIT KKR.
Fees structure is the same as all other government colleges, Scholarship opportunities are also available if the student belongs to an economically weaker section or they are from the sc/st category. Other financial aids are also available. Placements are something that fluctuate every year yet they have shown decent growth last few years but not that noticeable.
The fee structure here is okay I mean according to me a normal family can easily afford the fees but suppose if someone is not capable enough because of any reason they can also opt for a study loan which is very easy to get and can be repaid the loan once they get the job.
A fee hike is done for the new batches every year up to acceptable limits. The fee remains the same as charged in the first year for the upcoming years for a particular batch. Financial assistance is provided on the basis of family income as per following: UPTO 1LPA: 100% tuition fee waiver 1-5 LPA:66% tuition fee waiver Above 5LPA No tuition fee waiver For SC ST student 100% tuition fee waiver irrespective of family income Various scholarships are provided by institutes, government, alumni associations and other NGOs
There will be a 100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students and the same is applicable for the students whose family income is less than 1 LPA. 1/3rd of the tuition fee is to be paid for the students whose family income lies between 1LPA and 5LPA. We have many scholarships like Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Cental scholarships, and Alumni Scholarships.
Fees are around 76k per semester excluding mess fees which is 33k per semester. There are many relaxations including caste benefits. For SC/St fees are 16900Rs per semester. Students can opt for a Student loan.
The fee structure is very well designed.it is according to the income of the student's guardian. There are three categories. more than 5 lac, between 1 to 5 and less than 1 fee structure is so well designed that there is no need for a scholarship. campus placement is good for an upper branch.
Fees were classified on the basis of income, Above 5lakhs income, fees 2lakhs per year. Btw 1lac and 5lac- 80k. Below l lac- 30k. Scholarships opportunities were highly possible for only economically weaker students and there are some merit-based Scholarships.
