About Kashmir University
University of Kashmir, popularly known as Kashmir University, is one of the most prestigious universities in India. The university is re-accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by the NAAC. Kashmir University has been ranked 33rd among the top universities in India by NIRF 2023. The main campus of Kashmir University is spread over 247 acres of land and divided into three parts – Hazratbal Campus, Naseem Bagh Campus, and Mirza Bagh Campus. It is one of the largest universities in India with 12 faculties, 47 academic departments, and 21 centres. Kashmir University Reservation
Kashmir University provides reservations to SC/ ST category candidates and students under different categories. Out of total seats, 67% of seats are filled through Open merit category candidates. Kashmir University Result
The university conducts term-end examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students can check the results of their respective courses by visiting the official website of the university. The notification for results is published on the official website and students must check it on a regular basis to get the latest updates. Along with the UG and PG courses, students can also check the DDE exam result.
Kashmir University has a separate portal for evaluation results for those students who fail in the examination. They can apply by visiting the examination tab and select the desired course and the result will be displayed.
Kashmir University Admit Card
Candidates will have to download the University of Kashmir Admit Cards in order to give entrance examinations for UG, PG or any diploma course. The university notifies the publication for the admit cards in their general notification section.

Kashmir University Scholarship
Kashmir University provides various scholarships under different categories to deserving candidates. The university offers three different scholarships mentioned below:
- Merit Scholarship: Two merit holders in any course are eligible for 2 merit scholarships. It is granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test. Students enrolled in the final year of M.A./M.Sc/M.Com can avail scholarship on the basis of merit scored.
- Research Scholarship: There are four scholarships in each department that are awarded for carrying out research leading to the award of Ph.D./ M.Phil degrees. In addition, they will also receive a grant for meeting miscellaneous expenses annually.
- Student Aid: It is financial assistance offered to meritorious students who come from low-income groups. The university also provides assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.

Kashmir University has a separate department for Distance Education which was established in the year 1976. Kashmir University provides various UG and PG courses under Kashmir University Distance Education. - Hostels: There is an accommodation facility available for both male and female students admitted to the university. Each hostel provides mess facilities and services to the students. The room is allowed by a committee according to prescribed norms.
