Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Defence Technology) From CUSAT, Kochi

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

B.Tech or equivalent degree in Aerospace Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Chemical Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer and Communication Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Engineering and Applications/ Computer Networking/ Computer Science and information Technology/ Computer Science and Technology/ Computer Technology/ Electrical and Computer Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical and Power Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical, Electronics and Power Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electronics, Science and Engineering/ Electronics and Computer Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Computer Science/ Electronics and Control System/ Electronics and Power Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics, Instruments and Control Engineering/ Electronics System Engineering/ Instrumentation and Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Marine Engineering/ Marine Technology/ Mechanical and Automation Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Military Engineering/ Optics and Opto-Electronics/ Power Electronics Engineering/ Radio, physics and Electronics/ Software Engineering/ Structural Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering with first class in basic qualification.

A valid GATE score (in the concerned branch of study) or pass in Departmental Admission Test if sufficient number of GATE score holders are not available.

If sufficient numbers of GATE candidates are not available in category “b” above, candidates with GATE score in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering, will be considered.

In the absence of the sufficient number of candidates with GATE score, candidates without GATE score shall also be considered subject to passing the Departmental Admission Test.
