GATE 2023 COAP Registration Process

After passing the GATE entrance exam, candidates are to register for the COAP counseling process to secure their admission into IITs, NITs, and other participating institutes. COAP provides a common platform for the registered candidates to make the most preferred choice for admission into an M.Tech. Program in the participating Institutes.

Eligibility Criteria to Register for COAP 2023

The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidates should have a valid GATE score from 2023/2023/2021.

GATE 2023 COAP Step by Step Registration Process:

The candidates can successfully apply for GATE COAP 2023 by simply following the below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of COAP @ coap.iitd.ac. and click on the registration link.

Step 2: Fill in details such as their GATE Registration Number, GATE Paper Code, GATE score, date of birth.

Step 3: Click on the “Validate” icon and enter the registered email id and mobile number.

Step 4:Click on the “Submit to Register” button.

Step 5: After the registration is successfully done for COAP 2023, the candidates will obtain a Login ID and Password for COAP Login. The same will be sent via Email and SMS.

Step 6: The COAP registration will only be considered as complete only if the candidates log in using the Login ID and Password and verify the registration details.

Step 7: After the completion of the above-given steps, the candidate can access the information on offers made from the participating Institutes.

Step 8: In the end, the admission offer will be uploaded at COAP website and will be tagged with COAP registration number (same as GATE registration number without subject code).

Ans. Yes, IIT Bhubaneswar provides financial assistance to students pursuing the M.Tech program at the institute. Students to the program (except the Sponsored candidates) receive an assistantship as per the applicable rate for a maximum period of 24 months. The monthly value of the assistantship shall be as approved by the Board of Governors from time to time with the prior sanction of the Government of India.

Tech Program for Paper Presentation at International / National Conferences / Seminars / Symposium as first authors/visits related to Workshops / Short Term Course / Data Collection / Field Work etc.(within Odisha).
