Guru Kashi University (GKU) has been established by the Act of the Legislature of the state of Punjab. Guru Kashi University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has approvals and recognitions from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) etc.
Guru Kashi University has 12 colleges under it and provides education at all levels in disciplines like Engineering, Management, Humanities, Pharmacy, Arts, and many more.
For B.Tech, the candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. University also accepts LEET admissions to B.Tech. programmes.
Admission to other UG and PG courses is based on the merit of the candidate. For M.Tech, the candidate should have min 50% marks in bachelors in the same discipline
For an MBA the candidate must have completed his graduation or equivalent.
Admission to PhD is done on the basis of an Entrance Test.For PhD, candidate should have completed post-graduation in the relevant discipline with min 55% marks
