GNDU B.Sc + M.Sc Economics: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, is noted for its knowledgeable faculty who generally employ straightforward teaching methods. While faculty in the Economics Department are known to be approachable, some are seen as overly strict, which could limit classroom communication. The examination system is aligned with the new NEP policy, comprising two exams per semester: a minor exam worth 30 marks and a major exam worth 70 marks. Scholarships are available to support economically disadvantaged students, especially those from SC/ST and reserved categories, including the BHIM RAO scholarship. Scholarships are also accessible to single children and students from backward areas. However, the recent increase in fees, approximately 27,000 INR for odd semesters and 12,000 INR for even semesters, totaling about 160,000 INR over four years, presents difficulties for students from economically weaker backgrounds.
