Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

Well, assuming that your 1st preference is CS at Pilani. EEE at Pilani is arguably one of the most difficult branches out there. Based on the conversations I had with my friends from both the BITS campus, here is what I can tell you about the courses.

You generally have to compete with the top students on the Campus. Also, the EEE course material is not everyone's cup of tea.
The EEE placements are quite good, though not for everyone. There are more high pointers in EEE than in any other branch. Thus good companies prefer to hire from among those.
Placements might be better for CS at Goa, though in some other respects you might sell yourself short with this choice.

The CS branch is comparably one of the most demanded courses and is on a severe hike in India.
It moreover has granted students the opportunity to obtain the highest entry-level package over and across India.
Given the factors, the Goa campus of BITS Pilani can provide you with all the necessities.
In fact, one of my friends is a recent graduate from the institute and frankly shares no amount of regret following his admission.
