For admission to the MBA program, candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Commerce/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ Agricultural/ Computer Applications or Master's degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Economics while scoring a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on the 10 point scale (60% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded) with relaxation for SC/ST implying minimum of 6.0 on the 10 point scale (55% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded).
At least 55% or CPI 6.0 in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.
To be eligible to participate in the selection process, apart from fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA program, the applicant should have a valid score in the CAT entrance exam.
Final selection will be made on the basis of CAT percentile, Academic Qualification, Work Experience, and marks obtained in Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

To be considered eligible in M.Tech, the candidates should have passed BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant specializations and must have secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Admission to M.Plan and M.Tech is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, work experience and Interview/Test followed by CCMT counselling.
