MNIT Jaipur Admission 2024: Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

In order to get admission to the above-mentioned programs, candidates need to pass the 10+2 level or equivalent examination with at least 75% marks (For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 10+2 level).

Admission to B.Tech and B.Arch is done on the basis of JEE Main followed by CSAB counseling.

How to Apply for JEE Main?

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password
• Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through a Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI, or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

For JOSAA Counseling:

Candidates who have a positive JEE Main score have to go for JoSAA counseling. Follow these steps to register:

• Click on the registration page at the official JoSAA website.
• Use the JEE Main application number to log in.
• Ensure that your candidate profile is accurate. 
• Click on ‘Submit changes’.
• Fill out your preferred colleges and specializations according to the list of available options.
• Lock the selected choices by clicking on ‘I agree to lock my choices’.
• Keep a printout of the page for future reference.

MNIT Jaipur B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

At the postgraduate level, the university also offers full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree to the aspiring students. The duration of MBA program is 2 years.

The program is offered in the following specializations only:

The intake of MBA program offered by MNIT Jaipur is 77 seats. 

MNIT Jaipur MBA Eligibility: 

For admission to the MBA program, candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Commerce/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ Agricultural/ Computer Applications or Master's degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Economics while scoring a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on the 10 point scale (60% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded) with relaxation for SC/ST implying minimum of 6.0 on the 10 point scale (55% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded).

At least 55% or CPI 6.0 in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.

MNIT Jaipur MBA Selection Process: 

To be eligible to participate in the selection process, apart from fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA program, the applicant should have a valid score in the CAT entrance exam. 

Final selection will be made on the basis of CAT percentile, Academic Qualification, Work Experience, and marks obtained in Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

How to Apply for CAT 2023?

Candidates who are eligible for admission to MBA have to take the CAT 2023 for selection. Follow these steps to register:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on “Registration” for new users.
• Read the given instructions.
• Fill in the necessary details to generate OTP.
• Enter the OTP and validate it.
• Check ‘I Agree’ and submit the CAT application form.
• After submitting the details, a message will be sent to the registered mobile number containing the password, and an email will be sent containing the user ID.
• After the registration is complete, a unique login ID and password will be generated.
• Click on ‘Go to Application Form’ to fill out the CAT application form.

At the postgraduate level, MNIT offers Postgraduate programs that award Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various disciplines and Master of Urban Planning (M.Plan) degrees to the aspirants. At postgraduate level, MNIT also offers an M.Sc program. All of the courses at the postgraduate level are offered for a duration period of two years.

M.Tech & M.Sc is offered in the following specializations:

MNIT Jaipur GATE Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

MNIT M.Tech, M.Sc, and M.Plan Eligibility Criteria

To be considered eligible in M.Tech, the candidates should have passed BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant specializations and must have secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates. 

For M.Plan, candidate must have passed B.Arch, B.Plan, Bachelor in Town Planning, Bachelor in Transportation Planning, Bachelor in Urban Planning, Bachelor in Town & Country Planning, BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology to be considered eligible.

Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least 55% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to B.Sc program.

MNIT M.Tech, M.Sc, and M.Plan Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Plan and M.Tech is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, work experience and Interview/Test followed by CCMT counselling.

M.Sc admissions are granted on the basis of a valid score in IIT JAM. Candidates with valid IIT JAM score are eligible to participate in Centralized Counselling for admission into M.Sc. programs (CCMN). 

MNIT M.Sc Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

The institute offers Ph.D. in various disciplines of Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management and Sciences.

Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. is as follows:

1. Ph.D. in Engineering, Architecture & Planning: Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture & Planning with 6.5 out of 10 CPGA or atleast 60% marks.
2. Ph.D. in Humanities & Social Sciences: Master’s degree with 6.5 out of 10 CPGA or atleast 60% marks.
3. Ph.D. in Management: Two year PG Degree in Management/Commerce/Economics/Technology/Engineering with atleast 6.5 out of ten CGPA or 60% marks.
4. Ph.D. in Sciences: Master’s degree in Science with 6.5 out of 10 CPGA or atleast 60% marks

Admission is done on the basis of written test, viva-voce and merit in the qualifying examination.

Key Points:

• Sponsored candidates full time or part time must have total experience of more than two years.
• In case of sponsored full time candidates, he/she must have been in service of the sponsoring organization for atleast one year at the time of admission.
