Poornima University is a UGC approved Leading Private University and constituent of Poornima Group. It was established in 2012 by the Rajasthan State Legislature. - Candidates who have passed 10+2 can apply for UG and Diploma programmes and those who have a Bachelor’s degree can apply for PG and PG Diploma programmes.
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks is required for Doctoral programmes.
- Admission to UG courses and PG courses is based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
- For B.Tech. course, the university conducts its own entrance test to fill 70% seats whereas 15% seats are filled through JEE Main score and rest 15% are filled through merit at 10+2 level respectively.
- Candidates can secure admission in B.Arch. based on NATA score.
- The university also considers the score of NCHM JEE along with merit in the qualifying exam for B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration.
- Admission to M.tech. Is done on the basis of valid score in JEE Main exam.

Poornima University offers PhD. programs across 5 disciplines such as Engineering, Design, Management, Science & Humanities and Public Health. Key Points:
- Candidates are required to qualify Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by the University in 2 stages i.e. Entrance Test and PI.
- The Entrance Test will be of 2.5 hours consisting of two parts with weightage equal to 70 marks: (i) Research Methodology (Objective Type) (Duration: 90 Minutes) and (ii) Subject Specific Related Short Essay Type Questions (Duration: 60 Minutes)
- Candidates qualifying the Entrance Test with minimum 50% marks will be called for PI.
- Candidates will be selected based on the performance in Entrance Test and PI.
