Poornima University offers Bachelors in Science stream at undergraduate level in 5 different specializations. The programs are offered by different schools of the university. The courses are approved by UGC and AICTE. Application forms for the admissions are released online every year.

• The courses are offered for a minimum span of 3 years.
• It is offered as a full time regular course.
• The basic eligibility required is 10+2 from a recognized institute.
• Admissions are both merit and entrance based.

Poornima University, Jaipur B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for B.Sc program at Poornima University must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science/ Mathematics stream from CBSE or equivalent board.
• Candidates must also have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates applying for B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration must have studied English as one of the subjects (Core/ elective/ Functional).
• A relaxation of 5% is provided to SC/ ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ SBC/ Girl candidates.

Poornima University, Jaipur B.Sc Admission Guidelines

Admissions to B.Sc program except B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration are based on the candidate's merit in the last qualifying examinations. Candidates must appear for NCHM JEE entrance exam for admissions to B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration course.

How to Apply?

Poornima University provides both online as well as offline mode of application for any of the B.Sc courses. Below mentioned are the steps to be followed:

1. Visit the official website of the university.
2. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ option available on the top menu bar. You will be redirected to a new page where the candidates need to register themselves by filling the registration form. 
3. On successful registration, an email would be sent to registered email id and mobile number.
4. Candidates can now login and fill other necessary information like education details, personal information etc.
5. This should be assisted by uploading essential documents followed by submitting the application form.
6. Proceed to pay application fee of INR 1200 via PayTM/ HDFC portal etc.
7. For offline applications, candidates can also download the application form and fill it correctly. The duly filled application form along with photocopies of essential documents and application fee must be sent in the form of demand draft to the following address in favour of “Poornima University”, payable at Jaipur:

Poornima University, Jaipur B.Sc Course Details

Poornima University offers B.Sc program in below mentioned specializations:

Curriculum: The course curriculum comprises two categories namely:

1. Core Courses: These are Foundation Courses compulsory for all students and are further classified as:
   1. Generic Core: These comprise Theory, Practical, Seminar, Field based or Project Work based subjects.
   2. Subject Core: Such courses are to be chosen from a broad range of specializations.
2. Elective Courses:

Examination System: The B.Sc course is semester based style with written and practical examinations conducted at the end of each semester where students are evaluated through SGPA/ CGPA. In addition to conducting examinations at the end of each semester, internal assessment of students is carried out through the entire period of each semester based on class performance, assignments and attendance.

Evaluation: Students marks are evaluated on the basis of performance in class tests/ projects/ papers/ essays/ quiz/ assignments during a semester. Also, evaluation of practical papers is done on the basis of performance in practical/ lab experiments/ Viva voce/ Lab records/ attendance and discipline/ assignment. Tabulated below is semester wise marks distribution:

Attendance: Students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in both theoretical and practical classes separately in order to be eligible for end semester examination.

Summer Internship: Students are required to undertake a Summer Internship Project (SIP) at the end of fourth semester for a minimum duration of 8/ 10 weeks. A written report of the same is also to be submitted to the concerned faculty and carries credits in the evaluation process.
