Anna university offers M.E programme in 5 specializations i.e. Structural Engineering, Engineering Design, Power Systems Engineering, VLSI Design, Communication Systems and Computer Science and Engineering.

Anna University Madurai M.E Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of Graduation from a recognized university can apply.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 or possess a 10+3 years diploma certificate from the State Board of Technical Education are eligible.
• Candidates with a valid GATE score with qualifying marks in relevant discipline of Engineering /Technology, need not appear for TANCET
• Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree exam in the relevant field by obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates).
• Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech. degrees obtained through distance mode/weekend courses are not eligible.
• Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech. degrees obtained through distance mode/weekend courses are not eligible.

Anna University Madurai M.E Selection Criteria

Selection to Anna University, Madurai campus for the M.E programme is done through TANCET. The paper is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based).

The paper details are as follows:

• It consists of 3 sections, 20 marks each section
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
